"Hey rose and Alice" it was a thing I did. I said hi to everyone that was in the room (of a decent amount) and was just a habit I picked up from a young age of not wanting anyone else in the room to feel as left out as I used to be
Alice smiled at me while rosalie glared
"Is Edward here?"
"Upstairs" Alice said happily
"Thank you" I made my way upstairs and up to Edward's room
"Edward?" I knocked on his door before opening it
"You don't have to knock every time" I shrug making my way over to him
"Maybe you wanted some privacy" i said laying down next to Edward and cuddling into his side
"Privacy? From what?" He looked down at me with his eyes brows raised and I blushed pushing my head further into him
"Nothing" I mumbled and he laughed tightening his hold on me
"How was your day babe?" I yawn and shrug
"I was just reading"
"What? I thought you said your mum was finally home from her business trip and you was gonna spend time with her?"
"I was supposed to... but she decided to stay longer so I just read instead"
"You could've called me babe. I don't like you being by yourself" he frowns
"Don't be silly. You need to hunt, and besides I was always by myself before I met you"
"I know and I hate that" I sigh
"Edward. it's okay, I don't mind being alone" I lift my head up and kiss his lips before pulling away and leaning to the side to yawn
"Go to sleep babe, I'll be here when you wake up" he muses and kisses my forehead

A week later I was In the school toilets, on my phone because my mum had called me to tell me her trip was getting extended

I hung up after she said that and sighed leaning my back against the wall when I heard the door open again
"Rose don't be like this"
Rosalie? I tried to lower my breathing so they wouldn't hear
"I don't know what Edward sees in her"
Edward? She's talking about me
"I mean she's clingy and what? She knows how much I hate her and she tries so hard. Edward should just find someone else she's holding him back" I held back my sobs and covered my mouth
