Trouble - kelly severide (part 2)

Severide POV

I looked down at the magazine that I was reading at the table and flicked the page. Very interested in it

"Hey severide" Otis laughed. Everyone on the table got out of their conversation to look over at us

"Yeah"

"What's on your mind?" He asked and Cruz laughed

"Nothing" I grumble wondering where they're going with this
"Why?"

"It's just.." he stopped to laugh for a second
"Your reading the magazine upside down" everyone looked from the magazine to me and started laughing. I frowned looking down and seeing he was right. I quickly changed it over huffing

"So what's got you thinking like this?" Matt asked. I shrugged my shoulders but let a small smile slip

"Oh. Oh he's smiling. Oh" I roll my eyes and nudge Matt a bit before getting out my seat with him following. We walk past everywhere and into his office
"What's going on man?" He asks shutting the door behind him. I lean on the wall, crossing my arms and looking down with a smile
"What did you do?" He asked cautiously

"Nothing! Nothing. I met someone last night" he raises his eyebrows

"A girls got you like this?" I nod

"I know right?" I mumble

How did a girl I met for 1 minute get me to act like this?

"Well how did you meet?" I scrunch my eyebrows in distaste about what happened to her

"Not good?" I shake my head

"I was walking outside Molly's last night and across the road I saw her, her names Ayla by the way, getting harassed by some man. He didn't do anything just tried grabbing her and trying to touch her, so I helped. I went across the street, he said she was his girlfriend and I looked her and she had tears in her eyes. So I looked and saw him squeezing her hip, and I knocked him out" Matt nods slowly
"And anyways I asked her if she was okay and I walked her home. Matt I'm telling you. She's shy and all that but she's so nice and the most beautiful person, and I didn't even get her number" I groan. Matt laughs and pats my back

"You walked her home why don't you just go over and ask her?" My eyes widen

"Do you want me to seem desperate?!" He laughed at me

"You are desperate!" I pushed his shoulder playfully and walked out of the door and down back to the table we was at before whilst Casey made jokes in my ear.

"What did you guys talk about?" Cruz asks . As I go to say 'nothing' I see chief, hermann and Ayla? walk in.

"Guys. I have an announcement" hermann stood behind Ayla with his his hands on her shoulders and a big smile plastered on his face

"My daughter. Ayla is going to be a new paramedic on 51" me and Casey looked to each other with wide eyes

Ayla's POV

Me and dad sat in his car outside 51 whilst I had by head on his dashboard

"This isn't a good idea. I can't do this" I mumble. He moves his hand off the non moving steering wheel and rubs my back
"Who was I kidding? I shouldn't even be in this state" I mumble

"Ayla. Your gonna do great. I can already tell your an amazing paramedic" I frown

"But what if no one likes me?" His eyebrows shoot up

"Why would they not like you?" I shrug

"I'm.. I'm not a likeable person dad. What if they hate me?"

"Honey. You are an amazing person. They won't like you. They'll love you" he gets out of the car and walks to my side before opening the door
"Come on" I slowly unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car
"There's chief" he says pointing to a guy who just got out his car
"Come" he puts his arm around my shoulder and walks across the road to the chief
"Chief this is my daughter. Ayla hermann" he holds his arm out to me and I extend mine to shake it
