𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐈𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐖, 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀. Allison was reading a book about her families history, to the Martin sisters.

"The what of who?" Lydia asked. Harlow eats her sandwich, watching as Allison read a page from a book.

"The Beast of Gévaudan." Allison said. "Listen. A quadruped wolf-like monster, prowling the Auvergne and south Dordogne areas of France during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bête killed over a hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louis XV sent two of his best hunters to try and kill it."

"Over a hundred people? What kind of Beast can do that?" Harlow asked, but Lydia rolled her eyes

"Boring." Lydia said, as she stared at the two.

"Even the Church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan." Allison said, as she looked up at the two.

"Still boring." Lydia said, as she waved her fork around.

"Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a mesonychid." Allison said.

"Slipping-into-a-coma bored." Lydia said, as she gazed off.

"While others believe it was a powerful sorcerer who could shapeshift into a man-eating monster." Allison said, as she stared with widen eyes at the book.

"Any of this have anything to do with your family?" Lydia asked, as she looked at Allison in confusion.

"This. It is believe that La Bête was finally trapped and killed by a renowned hunter who claimed his wife and four children were the first to fall prey to the creature. His name was Argent." Allison said, as she looked up in disbelief.

"So you're saying your ancestors were hunters?" Harlow asked, making Allison nod.

"Yes, there is so many things about my family history, that I don't know about." Allison said.

"Your ancestors killed a big wolf. So what?" Lydia asked, as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Not just a big wolf. Take a look at this picture. What does it look like to you?" Allison asked, as she flips the book towards Harlow and Lydia. In the page, showed a picture of the beast as it was giant werewolf as it was covered around mist, with its eyes glowing red and sharp claws showing.
