"Wow..." Deaton said, as he stared at Derek's younger body, making Stiles glance up at him.
"Wow? Wow, as in, I've seen this before and I know exactly what to do, kind of wow?" 'Cause that's the kind we were hoping for..." Stiles said, as he glanced up at Deaton.
"I think you might be overestimating my abilities." Deaton said, as he shrugged slightly.
"But do you know what's happening to him?" Harlow asked, making Deaton look over at her.
"I don't." Deaton said. Lydia grabs younger Derek's arm.
"He's cold, really cold." Lydia said. Deaton grabs Derek's hands to feel how cold he is.
"Do you think this is permanent?" Scott asked, as he glanced at Derek.
"I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate. This is well beyond my experience." Deaton said, as he looked at the four.
"Well is there anything we can do?" Harlow asked, as she shrugged slightly.
"Until he wakes up? Probably not much. It might be best to leave him with me. He'll be safe here." Deaton said, making the four teens glance at each other.
"You mean, from Kate?" Stiles asked, making everyone look at him.
"If she's alive and she is what you say she is, she won't be able to walk past that gate." Deaton said, as he gestures to the door.
"Let's hope so." Harlow said, as she knew that Deaton has mountain ash around the clinic.
"Why would she want to do this to him?" Lydia asked, glancing at the four.
"Knowing Kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be any good for anyone but her." Deaton said, as he slightly nodded.
"And bad for everyone else." Stiles said, as he waved his arms around slightly.
"You guys should probably go home. He doesn't look to be in any danger... So, maybe the rest of you should get some sleep? It is a school night, and you all need to start taking care of your own lives again." Deaton said, as he saw that the four teens were clearly tired, but Scott shook his head.
