Background on the Bloodmoon and The Lunar Pack and The Hale Family
The Lunar Wolves, also known as The Lunar Clan or The Lunar Pack are one of the three oldest werewolf packs (The two others being The Bloodmoon Wolves and The Crescent Wolves).
They survived the near genocide of their pack and were able to escape to unknown parts of the world.
In the 18th century, they returned to Mystic Falls and settled there, keeping their supernatural heritage a secret.
The Lunar Wolves are strong enough to compete against vampires. They're also one of the largest packs that ever lived. Not to mention by unknown means, they've acquired the ability to control when and how they shift. They have the unique ability to turn into a wolfman that increases their physical prowess.
The Hale Family has always been the sole leaders of the Lunar Pack.
All members of their pack have the lunar eclipse birthmark on their right shoulders.
The Bloodmoon Wolves, also known as The Bloodmoon Clan or The Bloodmoon Pack are one of the three oldest werewolf packs (The two others being The Lunar Wolves and The Crescent Wolves).
Much like their Lunar counterparts, they survived the near genocide of their pack and were able to escape to unknown parts of the world.
In the 18th century, the settled in Colorado and became the second largest and strongest pack.
They were known to be the only wolves at that time that can tap into a Primal Rage that can increase their strength, durability and speed, etc.
The pack is solely run by The Jones Family.
All members of The Bloodmoon Pack have the Bloodmoon birth mark on their right shoulders.
