Salvatore Boarding House
Tyler wakes up on the Traveler's camp and he finds himself chained up. Maria (Tamara Austin), Julian's wife, the traveler who's inside his body, is with him and kisses him believing that he is Julian. Tyler pretends to be him so he can find out what is going on and when he hears Maria saying that Markos found a way to remove the magic from Mystic Falls and he is now on the search for the doppelgängers, he shifts and runs to the Salvatore house to tell them Markos' plan.
Amelia hugs and kisses him. "I'm so glad your back."
"Me too. Where's Lucas and Adrian?" Tyler asked, concern for their sons.
"Safe. Outside of Mystic Falls. Nahele told me it's not safe for them here anymore." Amelia replied. Sad, already missing them.
"Yeah. It's because of Markos." Tyler replied. "I know his plans."
"So do I. But we gotta tell the others."

"We have a problem. Markos turned Sloan into a vampire, had her drink doppelgänger blood, and after some chanting ritual thing, she turned human again." Tyler explains.
Damon frowned. "He cured her?"
"He cured her to death. The blood took away her vampirism but left her in the state that she was in just before she turned."
"That state being dead. Got it." Stefan replied.
"Nahele told me the spell will kill vampires. It will de-power werewolves, just making them human with the werewolf gene." Amelia explained to them what Nahele told them.
"It's safe to say that with Hybrids like us, were werewolves first, then vampire. So, once our werewolf side has been suppressed, because hybrids are natural Daywalkers, we become like vampires until death." Desmond speculated.
"That's... actually correct." Luke agreed with them. "What does the spell mean for the witches?"
"No one cares." Damon said, however a voice gets their attention.
"It means witches that practice spirit magic, any supernatural that was made by witches, any enchantments, will be removed." Nahele appears to them "Keep going, Lockwood."
"The point is they feel if they can get rid of all magic they'll break some lame-ass witch curse."
Damon figured it out as his shows it. "Markos said they can't settle anywhere without evoking earthquakes or hell-fire, but they break that curse, and they just move right on into Mystic Falls."
"And come after Elena and me today, as in now." Stefan added.
"Oh, well. Markos had a good week or two in the land of the living. Now where is he so I can kill him?" He asked Amelia and Tyler.
"No idea. They were moving camp when I got out."
"And without having any clothes they wear, I won't be able to track their scent." Amelia stated.
"Well, good news. Our friend Luke here is an alleged genius at locator spells."
Luke responds. "Travelers are always moving. They're impossible to track. They'll find Stefan and Elena long before we can find them."
"Well, what about one of those locator spell blocker deals? Is that simple enough for you?"
"If both doppelgängers are in the same place, yeah."
