How many chances can you ignore for an uncertain future?

How many chances can you take for an unlimited pain?

And how many chances can you risk in exchange of your missing piece?

PROLOGUE:

"What the hell are you thinking?! Bakit mo ginawa iyon?!" Hindi ko mapigilang sigawan siya pero para lang itong rebulto na nakatayo sa harapan ko.

He's wearing a light blue polo and it was tuck inside his black slacks. His grey colored tie is neatly tied around his collar. His hair is fudging brush upward and damn me for thinking something nasty scenarios because of this dangerous yet appealing man that could almost take my breath away with his drowning stares.

"Hire me, Charm." Naningkit ang mga mata ko sa kaniyang tinuran. Napasapo na lamang ako ng noo ko at problemadong napapikit ng mariin.

I am busy right now, trying to look for a secretary for the meantime because Milly is pregnant. As her boss, I don't want put her health into a risk. Marami ang applicants kani-kanina lang but then, this annoying guy came and ruined my solemn!

He just suddenly enter my office like he owned the place and told me that there will be no more applicants for today! And to make it more crazy, he's talking nonsense!

"Inuutusan mo ba ako?"

"Yes." Diretsang sagot niya na ikinasinghap ko. Tinignan ko siya na para bang hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi niya. Damn this guy. Ano bang tumatakbo sa kukote nito?!

"Excuse me?! I am the boss here!"

"I know, and I'm giving you the authority to boss me around." Walang pakundangan niyang sagot na ikinatikom ng bibig ko.

Shit! Now, everything is a mess! Starting from my day, to this freaking guy that didn't even know how to give up!

He wanted me to stay away from him from the very start, and now that I am doing it, siya naman itong walang tigil na lapit ng lapit sa akin.

"I told you, I don't want you!" I told him using my stern voice but he didn't budge. He still has his stoic emotion on his face that made me grunt out of frustration.

He is making everything hard for me and dangerous for the both of us. I have to stay away from him or else, someone will be in danger and I am not letting that to happen.

I already give up my hopes for him. I am now willing to throw out all those chances to get close to him and I am now ready to risk my heart to shatter even more but he keeps on reaching me.

"And I want you to want me." he answered me flatly without even bothering if what could be the impact of his words to me.

Damn, Cebi. Why are you doing this to me?
