Age of 17
Living the time of her life
But not by going out to clubs
Or sneaking out for road trips
Not even on drugs
And absolutely not a sex addict.
She's living her life
By writing out all her thoughts
Making business plans
Having pregnancy scares
Developing certain emotions
She doesn't know what to label.
She's living her life
By loving everyone.
Age of 17 and she's already in love
She's already pouring out her heart
On a guy she met in class
And it was so pure
It was so subtle
It was simple
But it was intense.
She was spoiled
Not materialistically
But she always got whatever she emotionally wanted
And this is the first time that a guy didn't give in to her easily
She wasn't pleased at all.
Age of 17 and already rushing into relationships
Rushing to fall in love
And to feel fatherly love from her peers
Then when she gets hurt
She writes it all along
And cries it out
To her computer.
The slow burn wasn't her thing
It's because she didn't like wasting time
She always knew how things would end up in relationships
But remained clueless if those relationships would end.
Age of 17 when she first experienced understated love
That kind where there's a phase that
Feelings were hidden
And not talked about at all
It was the kind of love to wait
And develop deeply and slowly.
Men who barged into her life rushed
Took her divine purity
And left
And cheated
And crushed her
But this time it was different.
Age of 15 when her intimate butterflies were murdered
And she's only experiencing love at age of 17
When she was taken slow
Taken care of
And treated like a true treasure.
