No, baby
It's not always the big things that
Make me blush and love you even more
It's not the expensive perfumes
Not the giant bag from Gucci or Victoria's Secret
Not the food deliveries
Not the visits and dates
It's not that.
Sometimes
Or in my case, always
What makes my cheeks rosy and my heart stop
Is the little things
The way you always wear my ring
Or the way you randomly call just because
And the way you pay attention to detail
Your erratic looks and stares
Also the way you consistently remind me to rest
Or when you're busy on call and
You still want to hear how my day went
And so much more.
It's also the little smiles
The genuine ones
The candid ones
Wherein even your eyes laugh too
Not the type when posing for a photo
It's your scent; so so addicting
Your aura that gives me random urges to touch you
Or when you give me the cutest compliments
And hype me up every now and then.
It's the little things that make my heart fall deeper.
