This may be the last one
The last manuscript you'll read about you
Written by my unpolished, cut, and fragile hands
My clouded thoughts and intense emotions
And my sore eyes.
This may be the last one
Because I don't want to do it all over again soon
I'm not sure
But why does it feel like
You're already preparing
To leave me?
This may be the last one
I don't want to bother you anymore
If you're gonna leave
I'll leave you this book
So you can bother yourself
But I can't bother you.
This may be the last one
Because I can't be mad
I can't go back
If you're gonna let go because of something inevitable
I can't hold on to anger or sadness
I need to be happy and proud
Because you're choosing yourself
Without me.
That's so strong
It's courageous.
