Flowers are too common to express your feelings to someone
But I still think it's romantic so I'd love to receive some
I also think that poems are overrated
The writer yet says it is an understated way to give love.
Necklaces are far too mainstream
Even bracelets and anklets
I don't think I'm the type of girl to love them
Yet can still appreciated the blood droplets.
It's okay to be common
I want something mainstream
But I want something deep
Not just a gift or an object
I don't want flowers because they smell good
I don't want poems because they're sweet
I don't want necklaces because they're expensive
I don't want bracelets and anklets because they're cute
I want the effort
I want the commitment
I want you to never leave me
I want the ring.
You shall be the ring
That forever I will wear
Even if my fingers grow fat
I will never take it off
Until you leave me and I move on
Yet you are the ring that
Even if it's already taken off
It leaves a mark
That never goes away.
