It's nice to know that absent-mindedly
There are some people who always cheer for you on top view
No matter how small or big your achievements are
They love you and they are proud of you
You're not told that you aren't good enough
You're not compared by anyone else's milestone
You're appreciated with what you can do and what you can offer.
It's nice to know that after a big wild party
You're not remembered of the crazy things you did while drunk
You're not showed of your unsolicited photos
Carrying your high heels by its strings and holding your head
Some people text you or even come to you and ask sarcastically,
"What? Hangovers suck?"
It's nice to know that when you fail or you feel like a failure
Some people make you realize that it's just a mistake
And making them is totally normal
What's important is that you grow and you learn
Then you proceed to realize how many hearts you made their problems face
You realize that no, you're not a failure because you've achieved so many things
That encourage other people, even the ones that hate you
Because in reality, you actually inspire rather than let down.
It's nice to know that when you're insecure
Other people are calling you names so
You do the same to yourself
Yet there are some people who won't listen and instead
Entitle you what makes you happy and safe
They won't have an idea what other people label you by because
They don't care and they don't see you like that
From their eyes, you're so beautiful
You're fierce, you're bold, and yet you are so good.
It's nice to know that when the whole world has turned their back on you
There are still some people who doesn't give a shit
And actually cares about your side of the story
They actually listen even if you don't speak
You're not told that it's your fault, it's your mistake, you deserve it
Instead, they're patient and they're beside you to be with you
But at the same time teach you
Because they're the real ones.
So to some people
I want to say that
I'm grateful for you;
To my soulmate
To my friends
And to my family
It's nice to have you in my life.
