When I'm gone
There will be nights where you can't sleep
It's because the thought of me is still bugging you
And there will be days you can't appreciate
Because the sun reminds you of how I glowed in the crowds.
But when I'm gone
You'll also forget about me
All the things I did and say to pursue us will be nothing to you
All the nights we spent with each other crying because we almost lost each other
All the days we spent with each other laughing because of my dirty jokes
When I'm gone
All of them, all of us, and all of me will be nothing to you.
When I'm gone
My scent in your room and bed will fade
The kiss marks on the paper will go away
The poetry we read each other suddenly lose their meanings
The sun won't remind you of my smiles
The moon won't tell you to go back
The clouds won't prompt how soft my hands were
The songs you sang to me will no longer be for me
The rings we once wore every time will rust
The sweatshirt will no longer hold my body's memory
The journal will soon be in your garbage can
The cheesecakes will lose its luscious taste
The ink receipts will soon dissolve
And I will be no one
While I was everything to you.
