Books had the words that we're too afraid to say out loud
We fear that it might be too early
Or it may be something that we're not yet ready to say
But in reality
We're so ready to say it
I think we're just unprepared to hear
What the response we'd get
And its subsequences.
Nonetheless;
The spaces between the pages
Serve as our pathways
We fit right into it
Because we're still vulnerable to step on the pages' words
So we're here tip toeing our way to the I love yous
In the space between the pages.
