Chapter 11: The Question's

*Mai's POV*

I sipped my tea as I stared at him. He took small sips as he tried to conceal his face. I respected his privacy and turned away.

I took a deep breath and said to him;

"I'm going to ask you a set of questions. When I'm done, you're going to answer them all, but please I need you to tell me the truth!"

"I'm asking you this because I know you've experienced life and I'm naive. I'm not stupid, but the last thing I want is to be lied to," I said as I took another sip.

"You have my word," he said as he winked.

I wasted no time;

"1. Have you ever been with a woman, sexually?"

"2. Do you have any ex's and have you ever fallen in love?

"3. Can you teach me basic ninja training?"

"4. What's your honest opinion of me?"

"5. Have you ever killed anyone?"

"6. Where's your family?"

I finished and looked at him.

"Only six questions I see," he said as he placed his cup on the table.

*Kakashi's POV*

She's very curious and did not hold back. Nice. I thought as I straightened my back.

"Only six questions I see," I said as I placed my cup down.

"I'm going to answer truthfully, so if you feel uncomfortable, let me know!" I told her.

She nodded and hugged herself.

Well here goes.

"1. Yes, with multiple women. This is what happens when you're a single Shinobi who's on the road or looking for some ways to relax. I did use protection each time so rest assured I'm clean."

"But ever since Lady Hokage proposed the idea of me marrying you, I haven't slept with anyone."

I saw her face turn into a frown. It killed me, but she demanded to know the truth and I'm going to give her nothing but the truth.

"2. The only ex I have is a woman named Hanare. She turned out to be a spy and we only dated for a month. As for being in love, no, I've never been in love or formed a bond with anyone. But things are changing now, with us," I said trying to sound reassuring.

Her frown turned even more visible now.

"So you slept with other women without any relations?...Interesting!" she said as sadness could be seen from her face.

"3. I may teach you but I have strict orders not to. When I first met your parents they talked about you they were so proud of you and your nobility. The fact that no Shinobi's have ever seen confirmed to me that you are well groomed in the prestigious life, and I personally don't want to taint that. It's what makes you, you!"

She tilted her head to the side in disappointment. But then nodded. She understood where I was coming from.

"I saw that coming," she said as she laughed.

"Moving on," I said,

"4. You're an amazing girl. You're smart, beautiful, easy to get along with and confident. A little awkward and naive but that's what I'm here for. I honestly want to get to know you, I want to be the person you need and can trust throughout your life. I want to know the real you behind closed doors. I am your husband after all!" I said.
