Chapter 41: More Trauma

For the next couple of weeks that passed the two didn't speak. Mai avoided conversation and Kakashi went about his day.

They took turns caring for the boys. That was the only time where they would spend together and only time they'd say a few words.

The weeks turned into months. It had been 2 months of silence. Mai set up an extra bed in the boys' room letting Kakashi have their whole room to himself.

Kakashi had enough of this and tried to sort things out between them. He wanted to feel that touch if his wife. So one night he called her into the room.

"Mai we need to talk." He said.

She walked over and sat on the opposite side if the bed as he spoke.

"We can't keep doing this to each other, this silent treatment-,"

"You're the one that doesn't want to talk to me!" She replied,

"It's because of what you did-,"

He instantly regretted those few words he had said. He got up and walked over to her.

He thought maybe a little make up sex would fix the obvious distance between them. But Mai wasn't having it.

"Kakashi stop!"

"We can't use sex as a way of solving our problems. YOU can't use sex to do that!" She said as she got up and walked away to the bathroom.

Kakashi was stunned. He thought it would be the best course of action, but no. He got turned down.

Did she not want to have sex?!

He started questioning her actions.

While he was deep in thoughts Mai was in the bathroom bawling her eyes out.

She felt bad for rejecting him. But she also felt disgusted. The trauma with her held her back. The way Kotono touched her had scared her. She held back because Kotono had violated her.

She didn't want to have sex because of the trauma and she didn't know how to talk about it for fear of being judged. For some reason it wasn't as easy to talk about. What made it worse was Kotono had said she "let him". He lied, she did not give him consent.

She cried for a solid 10 minutes before washing her face and walking out. By the time she came out Kakashi was already in bed sleeping.

Oh how she missed him.

She got some of her things and went to the  boys' room.

*Mini time skip*

*Kakashi's POV*

By the time I woke up it was already morning.  I quickly hopped in the shower, my member was hard so I handle that business before going out.

After getting dressed I went over to check on Mai and the boys.

She looked like a total mess. Her eyes were swollen meaning she must've been crying. Why should she?!

She was sitting down and sleeping. I wanted to hold her but she wouldn't let me near her, but she needed to lay down, so I easily tapped her shoulder and her whole body shook.

"Sir p-please don't, I-,"

"Mai, it's me Kakashi,"

"P-please Kotono-san, please don', please stop!" She said as she began to cry.

Whatever he did to her scarred her. Now my mind put together the pieces. She didn't want this, he forced himself onto her.

Her body shook as she cried. I picked her up and carried her to our room. She kept trembling and calling for me. He messed her up.

I easily placed her on the bed and caressed her face.

"Mai, Love wake up, it's all a bad dream!" I said as I wiped her tears away.

She opened her eyes and all I could see was pain. She paid for my sins. She suffered all this because of my actions. I pulled her in and just hugged her.

"I'm sorry, for everything I've said and done!" I said,

"Kakashi...!"  Was all she said back as she held onto me.

After a while of embracing she let go and had a quick shower

When she finally came out I decided to break the ice.

"He did it without your consent didn't he?"

She just nodded and made her way over to the closet.

"Did he have his way-,"

"We didn't do anything sexual, he did kiss and laid with me in bed but nothing else happened. I didn't want to but he over powered me. If you hadn't come that night he'd probably ra-,"

"Don't say it!" I couldn't stand hearing what my wife went through.

"I'm sorry for blaming you, I was so upset with what he said I let it get to my head, please Mai-,"

"I forgive you Love, he really did say those things to get to you... but what he did has made me scared of ever being touched, maybe I'll get over it soon but as of now, I'm...not ready... just know that I love you so much and wouldn't do anything to hurt you!" She said as tears filled her eyes.

"Babe, don't ever cry, I can wait... but just know you might get pregnant again," I said as I laughed.

I wanted to lighten up the situation, but who knows I might actually get her pregnant again.

"Kakashi you idiot," she said as her face turned red.

She walked over and gave me a kiss. A long and passionate kiss and then one peck on my neck before walking over to the vanity to brush her hair.

A mere touch from her had already excited me. She noticed and gave me a sly smile before walking out. She knew what she was doing.

I had to go back in the bathroom.

Whatever trauma she has, she needs to get over it soon.

*Mai's POV*

For now that's all he gets. Think of it as punishment for the way he was acting.

He might be an ass but he's my ass. At the end of the day I was going to be the reason why the Hokage was late to work.

The boy's were still asleep when I checked in on them.

They really have grown. Ken is always always hyper energetic making sounds and fussing around, he's the younger twin I guess you can say he's like me, while Sakumo is always relaxed, not fussing around as the older twin he's so laid back, like his Father I guess.

I checked the time, it was already 7am, not long Guy is going to show up. He always checks in on the boy's. He truly cares about them and it's just too sweet.

Not long Guy did show up and let himself in. We all had breakfast together and the men prepared to leave.

Kakashi walked over to where I was in the kitchen. I was busy washing the dishes as he pressed up behind me.

"I love you ssoo much," he said as he kissed my ear and wrapped his hands around my waist.

I felt every inch of my body pulsate.

"I'm going to remind you of my touch and that you're mine!" He said as a smile formed on my face.

"I love you too idiot!"  I said back,

As we were having our moments Guy just had to;

"KAKASHI DO YOU WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER KITCHEN MOMENT!"

I was completely red, Kakashi was pissed.

He let go of me and dragged Guy out.

"Have a great day!" I shouted as they left.

Finally peace and quiet. Or so I thought...

"Hello beautiful girl..."

That voice!
