Chapter 32: The second time

*Izumo's POV*

I arrived at the gates of Konoha. I knew I'd be arrested. So I headed straight for the two guards, all I had was fate.

"I need to see the Hokage?" I demanded.

"What business do you have here?" The asked,

"This is in regards to the kidnapping of his Wife!"

They both immediately froze and looked at each other. One nodded and not long they did some hand signs.

Not long 4 people arrived.

"Come with us," they said as they placed me in chakra restraining cuffs.

*Kakashi's POV*

"You requested to see me?" I questioned,

"Where's your wife?"

"No, you talk to me and me only!" I said to the boy,

"Unless you want me to reveal anything you have to bring your wife!" He said as he fell silent.

"Fine, what's your name!?"

"Izumo Nishi," tell her it's urgent.

After several minutes Mai was escorted in. Her eyes suddenly got teary.

"Izumo what are you doing here!"

"Lady Mai I have something to tell you all but you can't arrest me, news of this reaches Kumo and everything I've worked hard for will be ruined!"

"What do you know about hard work!!" Mai screamed.

"Hear me out!" Izumo pleaded.

"You have 10 minutes to explain before I personally be the one that's going to kill you!"

"The reason why I kept helping you is because, because you showed nothing but kindness to my mother!"

"We had little money and she left, we hated rich people but when she came to work for you she was happy and money was good, you cared for her and gave her things she needed, but then my Father he forced me to leave and that's how I found myself with Lord Kotono!"

"Who is your mother?" Mai asked,

"Saya Nishi..."

Mai went pale.

"Everyone out. I need to talk to Kakashi and Izumo!" She said,

"Lord Sixth-,"

"Please wait outside," I said as everyone slowly made their way out.

*Mai's POV*

As soon as everyone went outside I finally felt at ease.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier that you were Saya's child?"

"If I told you then... I-, I didn't want to paint the wrong picture. What if you had thought badly of me and my mother?" He answered,

"Izumo, I'm sorry you had to go through this,". So why are you here?"

"I'm here to watch you for Lord Kotono... he has a long term plan that he needs you for, he wants me to place you under genjutsu to make you different.I'm supposed to watch you and report weekly, but I couldn't do it, so I thought I'd be a double agent for Konoha, I'll send in fake reports while giving first hand information to-,"

"You'll need protection," Kakashi said,

"No, no protection, he has faithful spies through out the city. I will be out in the open, the only thing I want is if you let me stay close to Lady Mai," he said as he looked at me.

"How do we know you're telling the truth?" Kakashi asked,

"You have the sensory division right?"

"Tell them to check my head!"

After a long discussion we came to a decision.

*Kakashi's POV*

It has been 2 months and Izumo has proven to be very helpful with providing first hand information.

Mai has been assigned 2 Jōnin's to escort her around.

Izumo has explained that Kotono wants her to carry his child so that the child can have his blood. He wants the power in Mai and would stop at nothing to get it.

He had to be stopped but a set plan needs to be made.

Asami and I stood in the Hokage tower discussing the political situation around the Land of Fire when one of the Jōnin's assigned to Mai came running in.

"Lord Sixth, we have a problem!"

Please don't let her be abducted again, I thought as a worried look appeared on me and Asami's face.

"What happened?" We both said together.

"She was reading to a couple of children in the Library, then as soon as she got up she passed out, Guy Sensei was there so he helped and we took her to the hospital and they said she's short on blood, so I came here to get you, Lady Tsunade is already attending to her," he said in between breaths.

The three of us quickly made our way to the hospital. We entered and Asami asked the nurse at the front desk;

"Which room?"

"106 my Lord," he said as we ran over.

*Tsunade's POV*

The three men barged into the room unannounced, didn't even bothered to knock. I wanted to beat the absolute life out of them.

"THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED KNOCKINGGGG!" I screamed at them.

The three men looked like they just saw the Reaper.

"Glad you could finally join us, I've just brought Mai's results!" I said finally calming down.

"Those who are not related to the woman stand outside," she said as the Jōnin's and Guy took their leave.

"You're not wounded Mai, so you can cross that off, however you're severely anaemic meaning you will be given several medications... bottom line is that you're pregnant!"

The room fell silent.

"I-iii I'm what now?"

"You are pregnant, congratulations!" I said as I tapped Kakashi's shoulder and walked out.

Asami was more excited then the expectant parents.

*Mai's POV*

I wanted to pass out again.

The news was took us by surprise. I honestly was more concerned. Worried how everything will turn out.

"Asami can you wait outside?" I said in a polite way.

He just nodded. Once outside he announced to everyone.

We could hear happy screams.

"I haven't made mends with my parents and there he goes," I said as we laughed.

"Kakashi... I'm scared," I said as he moved closer to me.

"Don't be, this round I promise to protect you both with my life if it's the last thing I do!" He said as he kissed me and started rubbing my stomach.

"Hey little one, Dad promises you that Dad will take care of you until it's time for you to meet us!" He said as he kissed my hand.

Guy and Asami burst into the room crying!

"That was so sweet!!!," We're going to be uncle's!!...

Leave it to them to ruin a good moment.
