It was midday around 3:30pm when my errand boy Toshi came running into my office completely out of breath. The boy looked like he was going to pass out.
"Toshi, deep breaths!" I said as I walked over to him.
"Lord Sixth, forgive me for all this, but your wife was just rushed into hospital, she's in-,"
I didn't need him to finish his sentence as I understood exactly what he was saying.
"Come on let's go, I need you to send word to her parents to get here as soon as possible!"
"Also, send word for Izumo, but keep it quiet as poss
We walked out the office to meet Kento.
"Kento, send word, lockdown the hospitaland double the guards at my residence. We are taking no breaks for the next 3 days. Make sure Lord Asami gets informed!"
Kento nodded and ran towards another office. The moment we reached the second floor the whole building went into a frenzy. All the Shinobi's were rushing out. Things were falling in place.
I told Toshi to listen out for me, "If anything sounds off to you, regardless of what it is I want to hear of it!"
"Yes Lord Sixth!" He said as he ran off.
I didn't waste no time as I flash stepped to the hospital. It was already in lockdown.
The guards at the front were Yamanaka men. Smart move considering they'll be using mind transfer to check if you are truly who you say you are.
"Lord Sixth, basic protocol they said as I got in front of them,"
After a minute they were done. I bowed my head and thanked them before making my way inside. Just before I enter I gave them word the word.
"No one enters or exits the 3 floor!"
"Yes Sir!" All three men said.
I ran through the hall's and then finally to her level. Lady Tsunade was outside with a clipboard.
The relief I had when I saw her.
"You're late!" She said as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Late?"
"She already gave birth!...Both your girls are sleeping. Mai is recovering well, she had a quick delivery, short labor but she's all fine."
"Can I go in?"
"You can go in but please be quiet they need their rest too!"
I stood in front of the door and easily opened it.
I laid my eyes on the most beautiful sight.

They were supposed to be asleep and yet here they were.
"Mai, she's beautiful!"
Mai simply nodded as she ran her fingers through the soft fluffy hair of our newest member.
"Looks like you won this round!" I said as I took a seat beside their bed.
"You want to pick a name?" She said in a croaky voice.
"Lord Fourth, Minato Namikaze, his wife Kushina. I always looked up to her. She took care of me and my team."
"Naruto's Mom, right?" She questioned.
"Yes, his Mom, she was a strong woman and savior of this village."
"Then Kushina it is,...My little Kushina Hatake!" Mai said as she slowly caressed her little cheeks.
I stood, got closer and placed a kiss on her temple.
"I love you so much, thank you for being so strong!" I whispered.
She leaned her head on my chest,
"Something bad is coming Kakashi!"
*Mai's POV*
I promised myself this is going to be the last child I pushed out of my body.
I was going about my usual afternoon when I felt a shot of pain. I didn't think much of it until my water broke. By then I was already about to give birth.
I was rushed in to the hospital.
She was slightly bigger than the boys and it hurt like hell but I managed.
Everything finally calmed down when I heard her little cries. The most heart warming moment in all this chaos.
I held her in my arms and everything stood still. She looked like me, with brown hair and round face. Her eyes belonged to her Father. She is Perfect!
I will cherish every moment with her. I could feel that trouble was coming, not now not soon but eventually. I wanted to make the most of it.
I saw my fate. Kakashi needed to know everything. After recovering I'll tell him all that I was feeling.
After they administered after birth care on me and her, she was already asleep so she was put into her little nursery.
I was tired and decided to sleep a little. As soon as my eyes shut, I could hear her little cries. She must be hungry.
I stood up and carried her out. Once we got settled in bed I soothed her and then breastfed her.
She looked like a little caterpillar wrapped up in a cocoon, all snuggled and warm. My Little Miss Hatake.
Not long Kakashi arrived.
"Kakashi something bad is going to happen!" I said as I passed her to him.
He had a worried look.
"My powers, I can differentiate chakra's, I can sense that trouble is brewing, and whenever that happens both you and I get involved and-,"
"Mai, please don't worry, I need you to recover, I'm already investigating, Izumo caught wind of the situation, we have the upper hand."
"Kashi I'm scared!" I said as tears fell from my eyes.
"I'm here, don't be!"
I needed to hear those words. He always knew what to say to make me feel safe. With that I fell asleep.
*??? POV*
"Kaito she's just given birth."
"Should we proceed?"
"No, we are not scums, let the woman rest, we are not here for trouble, we're here for Hirosawa's head not for the Hokage's wife."
"The only reason we need her is to make sure he complies with us and leave without stirring trouble, but if the tables turn, then we have to protect her as Daisuke a sadist. No one makes a move without my command. UNDERSTOOD?"
"Yes sir!" they all chanted
"Good, as for now we wait... I know for sure Daisuke will be up to something. But no more women must suffer in his hands!"
I need to meet the Hokage. I thought as smug formed on my face.
