Chapter 25: Turn of Events

*Kakashi's POV*

"I've picked up their chakra signatures,but I will need someone with large chakra pool to help," Lady Akari said as she walked in.

"We can't act on anything yet, if we slip up we might endanger their lives!" I said as I looked at the three standing in front of me.

"Lord Sixth I think you need to talk to Kento,"

"Talk to him and see if you can pick out little details so if anything happens you can devise a plan and talk to Kotono he'll know for sure if you've talked to his son!" Shizune suggested.

"I agree with Shizune, go talk to Kento!" Asami said.

"Be careful, Hatake they are not the best at negotiating," Lady Akari said as I walked out!

*Mini time skip to prison*

"Lord Sixth, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

"Murasaki, your Father, he has kidnapped my child and wife!"

"Help us and we'll reduce your sentence!"

"Oh, how the tables have turned."

"Careful Kento, you're treading on dangerous waters!"

"I don't care!"

"I hope my Father kills both of them the same way you sent my siblings to their graves!"

"I hope you feel the pain of losing part of you! I hope and wish for so many evil deeds done upon you Kakashi!"

"I would rather rot in here then then save your filths!" He said as he sat on the floor of his cell.

"So that's the type of man you are, just like me. Strong willed and would go lengths to ensure safety. Such a shame you couldn't stop my chidori as it pierced through the heart of two of your siblings!"

"YOUUUUU MONSTERRRR!!" he growled.

"If it weren't for this cage I'd rip your head out of your body and -,"

"How does it feel to know that you were the cause of their death! I heard that Hanae begged you to take the day off and Deimaru pleaded to stay back but you forced them to follow you and ambush us. It's because of you they died, if only you'd let them stay-,"

"SHUTTTT UP SHUTTTT UPPOP SHUTT UPP!" He screamed.

"It was you who killed them!!"

He looked broken.

"If you want to redeem yourself, help me so that I can help you. Send word for me if you change my mind!"

I said as I exited the cell room.

"Monitor him and report to me every hour." I said as I flashed stepped to the office.

Naruto was already there waiting.

"Kakashi Sensei, you said I was needed?"

"Yes Naruto, you have the largest chakra reserve, I need you to help keep the portal open."

"What portal?" He asked,

"As you know my wife has been abducted, we recently discovered she is in another dimension. Her mother can open the portal but due to her age and lack of chakra she can't hold it open for long, that's where you come in!"

"We'll need you to lend her strength!"

We were still talking when two ANBU members came through the window.

"LORD SIXTH, you need to come to the prison infirmary NOW!!"

Me and Naruto flash stepped to the prison infirmary.

We both froze at the sight!

Kento was lying there.

We ran to his side.

"What happened to him??" I asked the doctor,

"He said he wants to talk to you!"

I walked in to see him. He was strapped onto the bed. He looked like he go into a fight and was badly wounded.

"Kento what happened!?" I asked sternly.

He started laughing evilly!

"Do you know my Father can feel my chakra presence?"

"What has that got to do with this?"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHhahahahaHAHAHAH

"You were right Hatake, it was my fault they died, I will always live with regret, but you know what will pay for my sins?"

I stared at him in in confusion.

"You!"

"My Father will know if I'm alive or dead, so if I die, then your wife and child will also face the same fate as me, and nothing will make me more happy knowing you will live with regret, pain, suffering and guilt knowing it happened because of you!" He said as he pulled out all the bandages that stopped his bleeding.

"DO NOT LET HIM DIE!!" I shouted at the doctor as I ran towards Naruto.

"NARUTOOOO,!!"

"We need to do it now!!"

"We need to go now and do it now!!"

We flash stepped back to the Hokage office.

I rushed into the end room where Lady Akari was.

"Do it now, we have a major problem, you have to open the portal NOW!!

I had no time to explain but everyone that saw me knew something was wrong.

Lady Akari looked concerned but got started.

Naruto lended her some chakra as a black swirl appeared.

"Found it, Kakashi hurry!"

Asami jumped in first, followed by 4 ANBU members, I was about to jump in as she grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"Kakashi, take Shizune... I can't feel the baby's chakra!"
