Chapter 49: Lady Mai

*Third Person POV*

He was her first friend. It was fun running around the manor with someone who isn't her brother.

She was just a child having an amazing time, oblivious to the situation.

While she thought of him as a friend, he developed a childish crush on her.

The crush would soon turn into something sinister.

"Papa, Why am I not allowed to to play with Daisuke?" The Little Lady asked.

"He is not worthy to be in your presence!"

She didn't understand what was happening, but accepted what her Father has set.

Her parents made sure she had the best teacher's, and so she was full consumed by school work. With time she blossomed into a beautiful young Lady.

She remembered perfectly how her Father would brief everyone when a party was set to happen at their residence.

Flashback;

"Make sure all goes according to plan!"

I expect my daughter to be out of sight. If she is to make an appearance I will be the one granting the permission. She fully understands the situation.

Flashback ends:

She was always dressed but would stay on the second floor and watch the whole event.

She got used to it and kept levelheaded. Her only brother would keep her company but he soon left as he started attending the Academy for Shinobi's at Konoha.

She was curious but soon her curiosity died when her brother came home injured and traumatized.

*Present time*

*Mai's POV*

"No one will touch our Lady!"

"Lady Mai, please stay away from him. We fought him in the Land of Waves after he was caught doing horrendous things to the poor people living in the outskirts,"

Her words kept replaying in my mind.

She, a young girl would risk her life for me.

"Sakura thank you so much for protecting me." I said as I looked at her.

"As a ninja it is my job," she said in reply.

"What happened on your mission?"

She took a deep breath.

This must be one hell of a mission. The once talkative Sakura looked like she had a grey cloud following her.

"He... He slept with women, took away their virginities either by force or seduction and then thre them to the side like they didn't matter," she said as she clenched her fists.

"We had gotten a report and request for help when he and his team destroyed a tiny village in the outskirts of the Land of Waves."

"He destroyed the village because they wanted to hold him accountable for the death of a woman of their village," he escaped before we made any moves.

"Come to find out he has a TITLE to hide behind and that he did what he did because he got rejected by a Lord after he asked for their daughters hand in marriage,"

She realized that she had said Title in a slightly different way.

"I meant... title.. I uhhh... you Lady Mai, you are amazing and genuinely nice."

"I understand Sakura," I said as I giggled,

"You're Kakashi Sensei's wife, you are part of Team 7 too,"  she said with a smile.

"I can't wait to see the boy's,"  she said in a chirpy tone.

"Well Sakura, can you keep a secret?" I asked the now curious girl,

"Is it bad or good, because if it's bad then you can be 100% sure I will be spilling it to Kakashi," he said in a serious tone.

"I promise you it will be good," I said as I rubbed my stomach.

He titled her head as if trying to study my actions. She froze.

"You're pregnant?"

"Mhhhhhmmmm," I said as I pulled her in for a hug.

"Lady Mai, that means you and Sensei will have 3 children, how amazing is that, I hope you have a girl, I can't believe this,"

She did not skip a beat. I wondered if she actually took a breath because of how fast she was talking..

She was mire excited then me.

As we headed home I bumped into a man.

I haven't seen him before. He was definitely a new face around the area.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you," I said as I collected myself l.

"Oh, pardon me you're the Hokage's wife, s-ssory for bumping-,"

"It's fine, no need to worry, we're not hurt-,"

"HEY  PRICK!! She's pregnant!! Watch your step next time!" Sakura screamed.

The man was visibly shaken.

We excused ourselves as we walked off.

"Lady Mai, why were you curious about Lord Daisuke?" She questioned.

I felt blood leaving my face.

"I might be the reason he is like this..."

"I was curious because you got super defensive all of a sudden!"

*??? POV*

She's pregnant again.

I could tell her protection detail were a bunch of S-ranked level skilled Shinobi's.

This was not the time to start anything. But if I wanted to catch the asshole, I needed her life to be in danger.

He'd be willing to risk everything for her and that's just what I need to lure him out.

I will not touch or hurt the woman, but I will hurt him. He needed to feel the pain.

She is what I call, Bait.

Oh Daisuke, how you have dug your own grave.

Forgive me Lord Hokage but our plans involve your wife.

The once silent plan has turned into a somewhat different plan.

This will be fun to watch.

A bunch of Lords begging for mercy.

Death is foreseen, but I crave the reaction.

Soon all will be in place and we will strike.

"Heh," I let a small chuckle spill.
