Chapter 36: The Arrival (Part 2)

The hospital came to a standstill. ANBU heavily guarded the door to the room the twins and Lady Mai was in.

Asami, Kakashi, Guy, Genma, Shizune, Lady Tsunade, Kurenai, Saya, Akira, Lord and Lady Tenzo all stood by Mai and the boys side.

The situation was tense.

*Kotono POV*

This is my chance. I will take the lives of those three.

By now I had no remorse. I was out for blood. The Tenzo blood for making me miss my chance and then the Hatake for taking the little family I had left.

"Sir, all preparations are set, but it looks like the hospital is heavily guarded. They set up a barrier so we have to use-,"

"How dare you speak like that, do you think lowly of my powers, you think a simple barrier can stop me from entering the hospital?" I growled.

"Sir I was just merely-,"

"You disgust me, LEAVE AND MAKE YOURSELF USEFULL!"

These delinquents have no idea how much power I possess. I will show them, I will take out everyone that stands in my way.

I might even give Hatake an early farewell to meet his Father and Sensei. No, that would be too kind of me. He needs more suffering. If he suffers than the Leaf Village will plummet.

I smiled at the thought of ruining the strongest village in all Five nation's. They have just recovered from the war. What better way to treat them then ruining the man that is supposed to lead them.

"We head to Izumo's!" I said as 15 men followed me.

*Izumo's POV*

I had avoided any interactions with them as I did not want my mother to find out I was here and that I associated myself with the likes of the Murasaki.

The Murasaki clan made a name for themselves due to the 3 siblings. I could've left long ago but it was Hanae that made me stay.

We were in love. She feared for my life and made sure that I stayed back. I had gained the trust of her Father and brother's that I had become her trusted body guard when she got back. No one suspected anything up until now.

Even so, her death was expected. The things they did was not right. Their method of killing. It was brutal and vicious. I've seen her and them in action. Things were bound to happen. The day she died my heart broke into a million pieces.

I wanted to leave but Lord Kotono took notice of my skills. Now here we are.

I felt their presence coming; shit is about to happen.

I wanted to warn Lady Mai but I had no time.

"Izumo, my most trusted man, what have you got for us!" The Lord said with an upbeat voice.

"My Lord, the hospital has been locked down. I've heard no one goes in or out, she's in the labour recovery room, third floor, south wing room 106." As soon as those word left my mouth regret set in.

"Good job Izumo, now I need you to place everyone in the hospital under sleeping genjutsu!"

"Sir some innocent people in theater might die-,"

"Do I care?! DO IT!" He ordered.

We teleported to a nearby area, I did some hand signs. Nothing seemed to work. The barrier!

"Sir this protective barrier is strong, I need to get inside the hospital before it works."

"Allow me," he said as he did some hand signs.

A portal appeared, we all stepped in. It was the supply room. This would have to do. I felt like running away but I feared for my life.

The hospital is the worst place to put anyonein genjutsu. People who are operations could die. All that didn't matter to the Lord, and I dare not speak against him.

"Now do it!" He growled.

I did a few hand signs. Next thing the hospital fell silent. Metal clanks can be heard as things dropped left and right.  The genjutsu worked.

*Kotono's POV*

Do not underestimate my power.

I had enough chakra to open a small portal for us to fit through.

The men were shocked.

I have arrived Hatake!

*Tsunade's POV*

"Lady Tssssunade,I don't feee-," she said as her head fell back.

Me and Shizune looked at each other. Only I, Asami, Kakashi, Genma, Guy, Kurenai and Shizune were awake.

The rest were passed out.

"Everyone release them and be on high alert, he's inside the building."

I saw Kakashi tense up.

He had every right to be. His children and wife were the main targets.

"Kakashi stand by them,"

*Kakashi's POV*

After being released from the genjutsu Mai sat up.

"Kakashi I'm scared!" She said as she looked at me with tears in her eyes.

The boys started crying as if sensing that things were not right. She got out of the bed and tried comforting them.

Saya helped by carrying Ken and Mai held onto Sakumo.

"Hatake I'm coming for you!" Kotono's voice echoed through the quiet and empty hallway.

I could see Mai holding onto Sakumo tightly.

"Kakashi he's here!" She whisper yelled to me.

I got into a defensive stance and pushed her behind me. We all braced ourselves in front of the door.

"No matter what, stay behind me!" I said. (Who knew those words would haunt me).

I turned around to see Mai placing Sakumo back into his bed.

I gave her a reassuring nod as I turned back to towards the door.

"LADYYY MAI BEHIND YOU!" Akira screamed at the top of her voice!

That was the last thing I needed to hear.

I turned around to see Mai jumping in front of the boys as Saya and Akira carefully took them out and ran to our sides.

With a kunai to her throat he pulled her into the portal;

"you underestimated me Hatake!"

He said as they both disappeared right before our eyes.

The boys started crying. I couldn't believe what just happened. She sacrificed herself.

I wanted to scream but the boy's. I looked at Asami and we both knew what needed to be done.
