Chapter 47: Trouble Stirring.

*Third Person POV*

"Congratulations Lady Mai, you're pregnant."

The Lady went pale. She did not expect to get pregnant so soon. Her heart was racing as she felt her anxiety level rising.

"Akira, how do I break the news to Kakashi?" The worried woman asked.

"My Dear he is your husband, regardless of how he feels you have a new addition to your little family. You should celebrating!"

The woman broke down in tears in the room they were in.

"So much has happened Akira, I'm scared to put my children's lives in danger. People are constantly coming after me and the boy's since we're easier targets-,"

She was cut off as her Handmaiden embraced her.

"My dear girl, it has been month's since all those things happened. But for sure Lord Sixth has learnt his lesson from the previous happenings and is trying his best to protect your little family."

She was still the same girl Akira watched growing up.

"Keep being the strong girl that you by are. The strong girl I've raised that always held her head up high. You don't need other people's negativity weighing you down. Be the best mother to your children." Akira said to her.

Mai beamed a huge smile as wiped har face.

"Thank you Akira," wS all she said as she walked out.

*Kakashi's POV*

"Lord Hokage, your wife is here to see you and she also said that it's very important,"

"Thank you Kento please let her know she could come in."

Several minutes passed and Mai walked in...

I could feel the tension. She was about to drop a bomb. Whether it be good or bad I was prepared.

"So there's this thing,..."

"Mai, get to the point!"

"I'm pregnant..."

My mind went into a haze.

Sleepless nights with the twins. Countless diaper changes, tantrums, vomit... now we'll be having another...

"Mai..."

"Before you ask, it's not a joke-,"

"Why would I ask that!?" I said trying to hide my overwhelmed looking face.

I shouldn't be surprised that this has happened. The amount of times we've done it.

"So our total count will be three-,"

"That's if we don't have twins again,"

I didn't realize I let a groan slip.

"Kakashi I'm scared," she said as she stood in front of me.

I came from behind my desk and hugged her.

"I know this must be a little shocking for you, but we've got each other, and I'm 200% sure we've got this, like look at us managing twins." I said to her to reassure her that everything was going to be ok.
