Chapter 35: The Arrival

Today is a very special day. Konoha hospital is under lockdown. Surveillance team, ANBU, Jōnin's, highly qualified Chūnin's and even the Sensory division closely monitored the hospital. Everyone that waited in the waiting room were on high alert.

As Lord and Lady Tenzo paced back and forth waiting for their son-inlaw to come of the delivery room with the news of their grandchildren's birth.

"Yuri are you not excited?!" Lady Akari said as fidgeted with her fingers.

"Akari you have to be calm, we'll meet our grandchildren soon," The concerned Lord spoke. But on the inside he could not hold it. He couldn't wait to meet his little boys.

Asami on the other hand, hasn't had sleep in the last 24 hours. He rested his head in Shizune's shoulder.
"Does childbirth take this long?"

"It takes even longer sometimes!" Shizune replied while running her fingers through his dark brown locks.

The Tenzo family including Shizune and Kurenai were the only ones inside. Akira took care of them outside while Saya was in the inside with Kakashi and Mai.

Not long the door swung open.

All of them stood up. Lady Akari squealed with excitement.

"They're finally here!"

Two nurses came out pushing someone on a wheelchair. It was Kakashi.

"Lord Sixth passed out!"

*Mai's POV*

"Did my husband just pass out?"

"Lady Mai take deep breath's they're almost here!" The nurse said.

"Come on Mai push!" Lady Tsunade said,

The overwhelming pain of child birth. I felt like throwing my whole body away. I was in so much pain and yet my husband was the one to pass out.

"KAKASHI YOU IDIOT, WAKE UPPPP!!" I screamed as he was pushed out of the room.

Saya held onto my hand the whole time. Through the sweating, screams, Lord Sixth slander and pains.

After several waves if of horrendous pain I heard a little cry then seconds later another.

"Congratulations Lady Mai, your two boys are finally here!" The nurse said.

Saya had a weird look on her face.

"They're the carbon copy of Lord Sixth my Lady!" She whispered as they put both boys in my chest.

She did not lie. These boys looked like their father. Did I not put in enough effort these last 9 months for them to completely ignore my genes. I'm literally the one that housed them.

"Let them know the boys have finally arrived!" Lady Tsunade said to Saya.

Saya beamed the most beautiful smile as she stepped out.

*Saya's POV*

I felt so proud of the Lady as I stepped out.

They all turned their heads towards me.

"News?" Asami called out.

"The boys have finally arrived. They are healthy and well. Lady Mai is stable. Though you can't go in until Lady Tsunade gives the clear." I reminded them.

"Also she gave birth to carbon copies of Hatake!"
Groans and complaints could be heard.

"Now where's Lord Sixth, he is needed before the Lady murders him!" I said as I walked off looking for the passed out Hokage.

I opened the door to the free room and there he laid. "Lord Hokage ?"

"Hnnnn," was all he said as he rubbed his temple.

"You son's are finally born."

He shot up as fast as he could and sprinted straight for the delivery room.

*Kakashi's POV*

I ran as fast as I could. My boys are finally here.

I opened the door only to be greeted by a very unhappy looking wife.

"You idiot, you passed out!!! You've been on dangerous missions and yet you-,"

"Mai you'll wake up the babies," Lady Tsunade said trying to calm her down.

I nurse led me to the two little nursery on the side of the Mai's bed. There I saw my two little boys sleeping peacefully. A red tint across both their faces. I could see the sleek grayness of their hair.

"They look like you!" She said with a chuckle.

I turned around to her and place our foreheads together, "thank you for being so strong and giving birth to our boys. I love you so much and appreciate you!" I said as I kissed her.

"Kakashi... you passed out on me!" She growled.

I tried kissing her deeper just to shut her up and move pass the embarrassment. She hit my arms and pinched my cheeks. Then she turned the tables.

"Lord Sixth I've just given birth, and you're already trying to get me pregnant again." She said so loudly that everyone in the room gave me dirty looks.

She's not lying though. I do want to get her pregnant several more times.

Lady Tsunade splashed water in my face. "Hatake!!" She yelled, snapping me out of my trance.

She was on her way out to let everyone know that they could come in to see Mai.

Not long the room was filled with buzz. Everyone gushing over the two boys.

Lord Tenzo was the proudest not leaving the boys' side. It made think, what would it be like if my Father was alive. He'd be the proudest knowing the Hatake Clan has two new members. My son's had Hatake features. I know for a fact that he is smiling down right now.

"I did it Father, I now have two boys of my own!"

"Have you two thought of a name?" Lady Tenzo Asked.

"Ken and Sakumo," Mai answered.

I was taken back. I did not expect her to use my Father's name.

I leaned in to her and kissed her, "are you sure you want Sakumo?" I whispered to her,

"He deserves it Love, he's the firstborn of the Hatake clan now, so let his Grandfather's legacy live through him!" She said as she kissed me.

"Get a room!" Asami yelled in annoyance,

"Asami what do you know about rooms," the angry woman growled.

Shizune and Asami looked embarrassed.

Not long Akira and Saya were bringing in presents from our friends. Setting them up on the table. Mai gushed over them.

"Kakashi there's so many of them!" She said as tried standing up.

"Don't you want to rest?" I asked her,

"Love, two huge weight just got off me, I've got enough strength!" She said back as she went over to inspect the presents.

The dotting grandparents sat beside each child. Lady Tenzo was a mess. Crying with tears of joy and The Lord was content just staring at them and caressing their flushed cheeks. It was truly a pure and sweet moment.

All of a sudden Mai called out to me.

Her voice had chills in them and I knew something was wrong.

She handed me a box the contents inside sent chills down my spine. Twin hats with the names Hanae and Deimaru with a note.

'Congratulations Hatake, hope you enjoy the remaining moments.' KM

I ran out the room as I ordered the Team of ANBU guarding the door.

"SEND WORD, NO ONE ENTERS OR LEAVES!!"

"He's here, be ready!"
