--Previously--

Charlotte was swaying on the roof because of the wind "come on darling, get down" as it was slippy on the roof she tried to get down but she slipped backwards and hit her head knocking her out "CHARLOTTE!!".

--Now--

Chloe got outside to see everyone staring up "what's happened?" Imogen turned to Chloe "Charlotte fell backwards and she hasn't been seen" Chloe paled "where's Eddie?" Imogen wiped her eyes "he's gone up there with Michael and there's an ambulance on the way" Chloe nodded and looked at Tom "this is your fault" Tom frowned "my fault how?" Chloe rolled her eyes "you took Taitlyn from her and she now thinks she hasn't got a reason to live" Tom sighed "Chloe, I didn't make her go on that roof" Chloe scoffed "yeah right, when she's okay, you just stay away from her" Chloe walked back over to Imogen.

The ambulance arrived and had taken Charlotte to the hospital so Chloe was sitting in the creche with Aubree, she was still shocked that Max had asked her to marry him but with the added shock of Charlotte injuring herself she wasn't thinking straight "mama" Chloe smiled "what?" Aubree pointed to Chloe's hand and giggled "where gone?" Chloe smiled knowing what Aubree was going on about "I've not got it" Aubree pouted "mama?" Chloe smiled and hugged Aubree just as Rachel walked in "Chloe are you okay?" Chloe nodded "have you heard from the hospital?" Rachel sighed and shook her head "not yet" Chloe felher eyes water "is she gonna be okay?" Rachel nodded "yeah, she's gonna be fine" Chloe smiled.

Max sat in his office thinking about Chloe when Chris came in "did you know about Tom taking Charlotte's daughter?" Max shook his head "no" Chris frowned "I'm surprised Chloe didn't tell you" Max smirked "Chloe has other things on her mind right now" Chris frowned "like that?" Max looked at him "that's none of your business" Chris sighed "what's wrong with her?" "Nothing".

Eddie sat in the waiting room hoping there was some news about Charlotte soon, he blamed Tom for all this, he took Taitlyn from her which caused her to sink back into depression. While waiting he went to grab a cup of coffee, he decided to call Rachel -

(Phonecall)

Eddie - hi Rach.

Rachel - Eddie, is there any news yet?

Eddie - nothing yet, they're still doing tests

Rachel - well no news is good news right?

Eddie - yeah, listen I'll call you later when I know more

Rachel - okay, I'll come up when I've taken Chloe home

Eddie - alright, see you later

(Phonecall)

Eddie hung up and went to sit back down hoping there was some news soon.

Tom had been thinking about Charlotte and how he had caused her to want too end her life, he wouldn't blame her if she never forgave him. While sitting in his classroom he looked at the picture he had of himself and Charlotte taken the day they left Rochdale, she looked happy and cheerful and now she was lying in a hospital bed because of him.

Eddie had been told that Charlotte had slipped into a coma and it was unknown when she would wake up, if she would wake up. Eddie couldn't believe that he could lose his daughter, she was his second chance at being a parent and she meant everything to him.

Rachel took Chloe home with Aubree "listen love, I'm gonna head up to the hospital and see how Eddie is" Chloe nodded "okay, tell me if there's any news" Rachel smiled "I will". Rachel left the house and Chloe looked at Aubree who was opening Chloe's bag "what you doing?" Aubree handed Chloe the ring box which made her smile "you want me too say yes don't you?" Aubree giggled and nodded "mama" Chloe smiled "how about we go pay your daddy a visit?" Aubree stood and walked to the front door "mama" Chloe puck Aubree up at placed her in the pushchair "let's go".

Chloe walked to Max's with Aubree but she stopped halfway to think about weather or not she was making the right decision, she knew it would change things forever. When she arrived at Max's she smiled when she saw his car was there "well Bree, let's go make the biggest decision ever" Aubree giggled and Chloe got her out the puschair and watched as she toddled up the path "mama?" Chloe took the ring from her pocket and put it on smiling to herself. Knocking the door Chloe puck Aubree up "when daddy answers the door smile" Aubree nodded just as Max opened the door and Aubree smiled "problem Chloe?" Chloe grinned "I said I'd think about what you asked me" Max nodded "well?" Chloe grinned "I've decided too say yeah" Max smirked and pulled her into the house and kissed her.

Rachel and Eddie sat at the hospital in Charlotte's room, she looked lifeless and a machine was helping her breathe "its weird watching her there like that" Rachel smiled "she'll wake soon and we'll have the bubbly girl back" Eddie sighed "I hope so".

Chloe left Max's not believing that she was engaged to Max. When she got there she saw her mum's car so she walked into the house "mum?" Rachel came into the hallways "where have you been?" Chloe smiled "took Aubree for a walk" Rachel nodded not noticing the ring on Chloe's hand "is Charlotte okay?" Rachel sighed "she's slipped into a coma and now we have too wait for her to wake up" Chloe nodded "right, well I'm gonna get Aubree settled" Rachel again nodded "okay" Chloe took Aubree upstairs and settled her for bed.

Tom wanted to go and see Charlotte in hospital but Eddie wouldn't let him, Eddie hated him and if he was honest he didn't blame him, if it was Chlo who had sunk into depression because of something that Donte or Ben had done he would refuse to let them anywhere near her. While feeding Taitlyn he looked into her eyes and saw that she was the spitting image of Charlotte, he smiled at her just as Josh came in "alright son?" Josh glared "why did you have to do that too Charlotte?" Tom sighed "I did it for Taitlyn, she needed to be in a stable home" Josh scoffed "Charlotte wouldn't do anything to hurt Taitlyn" Tom sighed "I'm not discussing this with you Josh".

Once Aubree had fallen asleep Chloe logged onto her facebook -

*Chloe 'AubreeLeigh' Mason - today has been a life changer but I don't regret it. Really hoping Charlotte gets well soon :( Aubree is missing her already xoxo

Chloe logged off her account and went downstairs where Rachel had dinner waiting for her "how's Eddie?" Rachel sighed "not good Chloe" Chloe felt her eyes water "is Charlotte gonna be okay?" Rachel nodded "she's gonna be just fine" Chloe smiled. After dinner Chloe didn't want to stay awake anymore so she said goodnight to her mum and went to bed falling asleep almost instantly.
