Chloe had been worrying about Charlotte as she had been distancing herself from Eddie. That morning when Chloe woke she went downstairs and saw Max with Aubree who was falling asleep "Aubree, wakey wakey" Aubree looked at Chloe and giggled "shh" Chloe grinned and took Aubree from Max.

Max had to go on an overnight meeting so Charlotte was staying over at his with Chloe as he didn't want her alone. Before leaving for school Chloe had decided to text Charlotte -

*Chloe - are u still coming tonight? Xo

*Lottie - Course. I'm looking forward too it xo

*Chloe - Okay, Max is leaving at around 6:30. Xo

*Lottie - Okay, Xo

Chloe grinned at her text "what's got you grinning?" Chloe turned to Max "for me to know" Max smirked and placed Aubree down. Arriving at school Chloe got Aubree from the car and took her to the creche. Meeting with Charlotte Chloe noticed she had a smile on her face "you seem rather happy" Charlotte smiled "I am" Chloe nodded "you can tell me tonight" Charlotte grinned "okay" Chloe smiled and linked her arm with Charlotte's walking away from Rihannon.

During registration Chloe answered her name and then spent the duration talking with Charlotte "tonight, we're gonna get pizza, ice cream and chocolate" Charlotte laughed "what does Max think of that?" Chloe grinned "he said he doesn't mind" Charlotte nodded "right, he knows I'm coming right?" Chloe nodded "course, was his idea" Charlotte grinned.

Once registration had ended Chloe and Charlotte went to English "have you spoken to Tom at all?" Charlotte shook her head "no, when he wants Taitlyn he tells Rachel to tell me" Chloe sighed "so he won't talk too you regarding Taitlyn?" Charlotte nodded "nope, I think its because I hit him" Chloe grinned "I've never seen anyone hit a teacher before" Charlotte groaned "I don't wanna be reminded of that" Chloe smiled "sorry" Charlotte sighed "I just wish we could get along for Taitlyn's sake" Chloe smiled "give it time".

Max was sitting in his office when Tom walked in "why haven't you excluded Charlotte Lawson for hitting me?" Max looked up "I've been informed that you were winding her up" Tom frowned "she assaulted me Max, if it was anyone else they would have been excluded, I'm guessing Chloe used your relationship in order to keep you from excluding her" Max sighed "Tom, I've spoken with Charlotte and you were bringing your personal relationship into the classroom" Tom rolled his eyes and Max spoke again "if there's nothing else" Tom turned and left so Max sent a note for Chloe.

When Chloe came to the office she could tell Max looked annoyed "what?" Max looked at her "Tom came to see me" Chloe frowned "right and?" Max continued "he thinks its because of our relationship that I've not excluded Charlotte for assaulting him" Chloe rolled her eyes "wow, he's immature, how old is he exactly?" Max smirked "he's jealous, we've maintained the balance between personal and professional and he's not" Chloe nodded "right, if that's all I should go" Chloe turned and left the office.

It was lunchtime so Chloe and Charlotte went to sit in the creche "mama me my dada" Chloe frowned "what?" Aubree giggled "my dada" Chloe smiled "you can have your dada" Aubree giggled "yay".

After lunchtime both girls had free periods so they went to sit in the library "Max told me that Tom went to see him earlier" Charlotte frowned "what did he say?" Chloe sighed "that he thinks Max didn't exclude you for hitting him because of me being with him" Charlotte frowned "I'm sorry" Chloe smiled "don't be, it was Tom" Charlotte shook her head "your relationship with Max shouldn't be brought up because of Tom" Chloe smiled "Max knows about Tom gets jealous" Charlotte sighed "I'm not getting involved with him again".

It was the end of the day so Chloe went to collect Aubree with Charlotte "what time you coming?" Charlotte smiled "I'll come about quater to seven" Chloe nodded "I'm assuming Max will be gone by then but if not he won't say nothing" Charlotte nodded "I'll text you when I'm on my way" Chloe grinned "okay".

Chloe made her way to Max's office just as Rachel and Eddie approached her "how are things going?" Chloe smiled "good, Aubree's loving it" Rachel looked at her granddaughter who had a smile on her face "come round for dinner soon" Chloe smiled "I will" Rachel grinned and she walked off with Eddie.

Arriving back at Max's Chloe got changed while Max got ready for the meeting "are you sure you're going to be okay?" Chloe rolled her eyes "yeah, I'll be fine. Charlotte will be here soon anyways" Max nodded "I should be back early" Chloe nodded "have fun" Max smirked and kissed her before leaving.

Charlotte arrived not long after Max left "mama ook!" Chloe smiled "yeah, she's come to see you" Aubree giggled "yay". Chloe put Aubree to bed and ordered pizza for herself and Charlotte "how's things with you and Eddie now?" Charlotte shrugged "getting there" Chloe smiled "that's good" Charlotte nodded "Max has a nice house" Chloe laughed "you should have seen the one back in Rochdale" Charlotte grinned and Chloe continued "who's got Taitlyn?" Charlotte smiled "your mum offered to watch her, Eddie's gone to Rochdale for the weekend to see his son" Chloe nodded "least Eddie's keeping in touch with his son" Charlotte grinned "yeah, where's this pizza" Chloe shrugged "I don't know, should be here soon".

The pizza arrived so Chloe and Charlotte sat on the sofa watching Dirty Dancing "I wasn't aware Max had this in his collection" Chloe grinned "he doesn't, its mine" Charlotte laughed "wow". A few hours later Chloe locked the door and she got her duvet from upstairs "I think my feelings for Michael are coming back" Chloe smiled "yeah?" Charlotte nodded "yeah, after the row I had with Eddie I wound up on his doorstep he invited me in and we kissed" Chloe grinned "that sounds like something out of a romantic movie" Charlotte laughed "really?" Chloe nodded "yeah, cute though". The girls stayed up until 2:30 chatting where they both fell asleep on the sofa.
