Chloe had been watching Charlotte since they returned to school and she had noticed that she had been acting distant. Rachel had made it clear that she wasn't happy about Chloe being engaged to Max but Chloe had told her mum there was nothing she could do about it. That morning Chloe woke and heard Charlotte and Eddie talking so she went downstairs after getting Aubree dressed "I'm not going to school Eddie" Eddie sighed "why not?" Charlotte sighed "I don't want too go" Eddie watched as Charlotte walked upstairs "what's all that about?" Chloe shrugged "I don't know" Eddie nodded and watched as Chloe walked upstairs to get dressed.

Arriving at school Chloe got Aubree from the car and took her to the creche where she stayed with her as she was being clingy again. When she left the creche she made her way to registration but before she could get there Max pulled her to one side "what?" Max looked at her "where's Charlotte?" Chloe frowned "why do you care?" Max smirked "she's a pupil who's not in school" Chloe rolled her eyes "well she's ill" Max nodded and Chloe went to walk off but Max took her hand "what are you doing tonight?" Chloe shrugged "I don't know, might have plans" Max smirked "you could come to my place" Chloe grinned "I might".

Charlotte sat at home watching TV, she was confused, she loved Tom with all her heart but she didn't want to be hurt again.

Chloe was in English with Tom when her phone vibrated, getting it out she saw a text from Charlotte -

*Lottie - there's a reason I'm not in school. X

*Chloe - yeah I gathered that. Whts the reason? X

*Lottie - I love Tom so much but I don't want 2 b hurt & I don't want 2 c him yet. X

*Chloe - you could have told me this, I wouldn't have judged. X

*Lottie - Eddie would though. He hates Tom. X

*Chloe - you'll sort it out. I'm here 4 you. X

*Lottie - thanks Chloe. X

Chloe didn't reply but she looked at Tom and sighed which Imogen noticed "what's wrong?" Chloe smiled "nothing, I'm figuring some stuff out" Imogen smiled "don't think too hard then" Chloe laughed "I'll try". Once the lesson had ended Chloe stayed behind "is there a problem Chloe?" Chloe looked at him "you should be happy" Tom frowned "about what?" Chloe rolled her eyes "about Charlotte" Tom was confused "what about Charlotte?" Chloe raised her eyebrows "you say you love her but you do stuff like what you did with Taitlyn" Tom sighed "I've explained why I did that" Chloe rolled her eyes again "taking someone's child to get back at someone is pathetic" Tom looked at Chloe "I also told Charlotte I was sorry" Chloe sighed "you're messing with her head" as Chloe said that Eddie walked in "explain to me why you took Taitlyn Tom, because the way I see it you've not explained" Tom sighed "I did what I did so I could show what I could do being Taitlyn's father" Eddie glared "how old are you Tom? Using a newborn to get back at me?" Tom sighed "I'm sorry" Eddie scoffed "if I had anything to do anything to do with it I'd make sure Charlotte stays away from you" Eddie walked out the classroom and Chloe turned to Tom "Charlotte loves you but she doesn't want too be hurt" Tom was about to speak when Chloe walked out.

Chloe was walking towards the creche to spend lunch time with Aubree. When she got there Aubree was screaming "what's wrong with her?" The keyworker looked at Chloe and shrugged "she's been like this for the last 20minutes" Chloe frowned and took Aubree from the keyworker "hey what's wrong baba?" Aubree hid her head on Chloe's shoulders and she continued screaming "come on" Chloe got Aubree's coat and she left the creche. While walking through the corridor Chloe ignored everyone asking if Aubree was okay, she walked straight past Max's office she was going home.
