Chapter 66 - Another Row

The weekend had ended and Chloe couldn't wait to head back home and see Aubree. Arriving back in Scotland Max drove to Rachel's to get Aubree. Once Chloe had gotten her they went home.

Charlotte had to hide the engagement ring from Eddie as she didn't want him knowing about it. Tom had offered to have Taitlyn so Eddie and Rachel could have a break.

The Next Day

Chloe had just woken Aubree up who was being grumpy "come on baby, eat" Aubree shook her head "no" Chloe sighed just as Max came into the kitchen "problem?" Chloe nodded "she won't eat" Max took Aubree from Chloe and gave her the toast on her plate "course she would eat for you" Max smirked.

Arriving at school Max had offered to take Aubree to the creché "bye Bree" Aubree pouted her lips which made Chloe grin. Meeting with Charlotte, Chloe noticed she had a grin on her face "are you okay?" Charlotte nodded "I'm fine" Chloe smiled "good, Aubree's a right diva" Charlotte laughed "like her mummy" Chloe grinned.

Chloe was walking through the corridor as Charlotte hadn't turned up for registration so Chloe had offered to go and look for her. She got by Tom's class and heard giggling which confused her as Tom wasn't in till later so she walked in and paled "again?!".

Tom and Charlotte stopped what they were doing and pulled away to see Chloe standing there "Chloe, quit walking in!" Chloe scoffed "learn to lock the door then! and then maybe this wouldn't be displayed for the world too see" Charlotte glared "what are you even doing here anyway?" Chloe shrugged "I'm here because you missed registration and I offered to come and look for you. Shouldn't have bothered now" Charlotte nodded "okay" Chloe rolled her eyes "you know what? I've had enough of you being like this" Charlotte shrugged "oh well" Chloe turned and walked out the classroom.

Max saw Chloe leaving Tom's classroom and frowned "Chloe?" Chloe looked at him "what?" Max frowned "what's wrong?" Chloe sighed "nothing" Max nodded "so that's why you look like you want to shout?" Chloe rolled her eyes "Max I'm fine" Chloe saw Charlotte and Tom leaving his classroom and she turned away from Charlotte.

Tom saw Chloe and Max talking so he walked up to them "Chloe, I'm sorry for how Charlotte was just" Chloe shrugged "I don't care" Max frowned "what happened?" Tom sighed "Chloe walked in on me and Charlotte" Max looked at Chloe who was looking away from them "doing?" Chloe rolled her eyes "what do you think they were doing?" before Max could say anything Chloe walked away.

Charlotte sat in the toilets crying, Chloe hated her. She looked in her bag and took out her tin, she took out the razor blade and dragged it against her wrist causing blood to come gushing out.

Tom was walking past the toilets when he heard crying "It's Mr.Clarkson" "Tom?" Tom frowned when he heard Charlotte's voice so he walked in "what's wrong?" Charlotte looked up with tears in her eyes "my wrist won't stop bleeding" Tom looked down and saw the blood on Charlotte's arm and on the floor "I'll get you some help" "Chloe".

Chloe sat in English with Miss.Boston and her phone vibrated -

Tom - Charlotte needs you, toilets by Max's office.

Chloe frowned and stood "where are you going?" Chloe ignored Miss.Boston and left the classroom. When she got to the bathroom she saw a load of pupils standing around "move now". Chloe eventually got through the crowd of pupils and entered the bathroom "what happened?" Tom looked at her "she cut herself" Chloe looked at Charlotte and sat next to her not caring about the blood on the floor "why did you do this?" Charlotte shrugged "I thought you hated me" Chloe smiled "I could never hate you" Chloe got some toilet roll and wrapped it around Charlotte's bleeding wrists "don't ever do this again okay?" Charlotte nodded "okay" Chloe hugged her "come on, you need to get that looked off.

Chloe went with Charlotte to the nurse and stayed with her "how about we go to Max's or something for the rest of the day?" Charlotte nodded.

Arriving back at Max's Chloe put cbeebies on for Aubree and Taitlyn and she sat on the sofa with Charlotte "look Charl, self-harm really isn't worth it, you're beautiful and you shouldn't need to do that" Charlotte sighed "I thought I'd lost my best friend and it hurt" Chloe hugged her "you're never gonna lose me, I promise" Charlotte smiled.
