Chapter 86 - Finding Charlotte.

It had been a week since Charlotte had run away and it was getting hard for Chloe has she missed her best friend like mad.

That morning Max woke and Chloe wasn't in bed, sighing to himself he got out of bed and went downstairs, he saw Chloe sitting on the sofa phoning someone "Charl, come back please

Taitlyn needs her Mummy. Aubree misses you" Chloe stood from the sofa and turned to see Max "how long you been there?" Max sighed "long enough, didn't she answer?" Chloe shook her head "no, It's been a week, what if she's done something stupid" Max sighed "she won't have, she has a daughter who needs her" Chloe faintly smiled "suppose so"

Arriving at school Max took Aubree to the creché while Chloe went to speak with Eddie to see if there had been any news on Charlotte. She got to Eddie's classroom "Eddie, has there been anything?" Eddie sighed and shook his head "nothing, we're not giving up finding her" Chloe sighed and walked off.

Tom had been missing Charlotte like mad, she hadn't been seen, Chlo had felt guilty when she had been told what had happened but Chloe didn't want too know. He was sitting in his classroom when Josh came in "Dad, Finn said he's spotted a girl like Charlotte in London" Tom looked up "has he said anything to her ?" Josh shrugged "I don't know" Tom sighed "we need to get there soon as".

Max had been told that Chloe was in the cooler so he went to see why. When he got there she looked like she had been crying so he walked in "why are you in here?" Chloe looked up and sighed "because stupid people can't keep their opinions to themselves" Max pulled Chloe up out of her chair "you can't keep lashing out" Chloe scoffed as Max sat her down "I'm not a posession Max" Max smirked "you're mine".

Tom saw Chloe and Max in the cooler talking so he walked in "Charlotte's been spotted in London" Chloe frowned "London?" Tom nodded "yeah, Josh told me that Finn saw her" Max smirked "since when could we trust anything Finn Sharkey said" Chloe rolled her eyes "Max, shush" Tom smiled and continued "I'm going to London now to try and get her back, are you coming?" Chloe frowned "L-London? I don't think I can" Tom frowned "why not?" Chloe sighed "I have Aubree to look after, unless Max came" Chloe turned to Max "I'll stay here in case the lead isn't good" Tom knew this wouldn't be good so he left.

When Tom had gone Chloe turned to Max "I need you Max" Max sighed "Chloe, someone should stay here" Chloe glared "Max please" Max tried to pull her into his arms but she pushed him away "no, you don't get to be romantic" Max smirked and when she wasn't paying attention he pulled her and he planted his lips onto hers.

London.

Tom had just arrived in London and headed to the place where he was told Charlotte was. All he wanted was to hold her in his arms and kiss her. He noticed that he was in the roughest part of London and frowned he hated to think that Charlotte was somewhere here.

Back In Scotland.

Chloe had been taken to Max's office so she could stay calm even though she was furious at him "you always said you'd take me back to London. Why not now?" Max sighed "Chloe, we have our daughter to consider, she won't be happy" Chloe thought he had a point but she was still upset, she wanted to see her friend "have you spoken to your Mother?" Chloe sighed "no" Max nodded "don't you think you should?" Chloe nodded "I'll call her later" Max nodded.

With Tom In London

Tom was having no look in locating Charlotte. He was about to give up when he saw a girl with dark hair sleeping on the street, he got out his car and walked over, sighing in relief when he saw it was Charlotte, he lifted her up into his arms and took her to the car placing her in the backseat. He climbed into the driver seat and got his phone to text Eddie -

Tom - I've got Charlotte. I'm bringing her home!

Eddie - Thankyou Tom, I appreciate it.

Tom smiled at Eddie's reply.

With Chloe&Max

Chloe and Max had just returned home when Chloe received a text from her Mum -

Rachel - Charlotte has been found. Tom's bringing her back.

Chloe - OMG! That's great!!

Rachel - I'll text you when she's back

Chloe grinned at the reply "everything Okay?" Chloe nodded "Tom found Charlotte" Max nodded "that's good isn't it?" Chloe grinned "yeah".

Tom&Charlotte.

Charlotte had woken up so Tom had pulled over and she climbed into the front seat "I'm sorry for running away like that" Tom sighed "it wasn't the best thing to do, we've been going out of our minds with worry, Chloe hasn't been as strong as she's been making out" Charlotte frowned "she's not been drinking has she?" Tom shook his head "no, Max kept her away from it" Charlotte nodded and Tom continued "I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe" Charlotte smiled and kissed him, he kissed her back and soon it led onto something more.

Max had just taken Chloe over to her Mum's so she could see Charlotte "aren't you coming in?" Max shook his head "I'll wait here" Chloe smiled and took Aubree from the car.

Tom pulled up outside and saw Max's car "Chloe's here" Charlotte sighed "cool".

Chloe noticed Tom's car so she puck Taitlyn up "come here munchkin. Aubs come on" Aubree giggled and took hold of Chloe's hand. Heading outside Chloe grinned at the sight of her best friend "mama ook!" Chloe smiled as Charlotte walked up to them "hiya" Chloe hugged Charlotte as best as she could while holding Taitlyn "this little girl has missed her Mummy" Charlotte took Taitlyn from Chloe and held her close "I missed you so much" Chloe smiled and puck Aubree up "Aubree hello" Aubree giggled and said hello.

Chloe,Max and Aubree left and Charlotte went for a hot bath. When she came down she sat with Eddie "I'm sorry I ran away, I couldn't handle everyone hating me" Eddie smiled "no-one hates you, everyone has missed you" Charlotte smiled as Eddie pulled her into his arms glad to have his daughter back where she belonged.

Chloe had just put Aubree to bed but she seemed to be in a cheeky mood "Aubree go to sleep" Aubree giggled "no" Chloe smiled "Aubree, sleep".

Aubree eventually fell asleep so Chloe plonked down onto the sofa next to Max "problem?" Chloe groaned "your daughter you wouldn't settle" Max smirked "well, she's settled hasn't she?" Chloe nodded "now she has" Max smirked again "well then" Chloe rolled her eyes "you're insufferable sometimes" Max put his paperwork down and pulled Chloe so she was sitting on his leg "you're beautiful all the time" Chloe grinned as he kissed her "I'm still annoyed at you" Max nodded as he began kissing her neck.

A couple of hours later Chloe and Max went to bed and Chloe was glad that Charlotte had come back.
