Chloe had been back at home for a few days and no-one had mentioned the time she had been staying with Max, Rachel wanted to forget it had happened. That morning Chloe had noticed Charlotte had been on her phone a lot and she had a smile on her face "what's got you grinning?" Charlotte looked up and smiled "I'll tell you at school" Chloe nodded "make sure you do" Charlotte grinned "I will" Chloe winked and walked upstairs.

Arriving at school Chloe and Charlotte took Aubree and Taitlyn to the creche "so come on, spill the beans, what had you smiling?" Charlotte smiled "Tom asked me out tonight" Chloe nodded "right is that good?" Charlotte shrugged "I don't know, I kind of don't want to go" Chloe smiled "what if I go with you?" Charlotte frowned "how do you mean?" Chloe smiled "I'll convince Max to go and that way I can keep a look out for you" Charlotte smiled "you'd do that for me?" Chloe nodded "course, besides if I have to spend another night listening to mum and Eddie talking all lovey dovey I think I'll go mad" Charlotte laughed "its great having you back" Chloe grinned "why thank you".

Chloe had managed to convince Max to go tonight although he hadn't been happy about it. When Chloe got to registration she knew she was late but she didn't care "where have you been?" Chloe grinned "convincing someone" Charlotte nodded "and?" Chloe shrugged "he wasn't happy but I convinced him" Charlotte laughed "that's good" Chloe shrugged again "whatevs" Charlotte grinned "cheer up" Chloe smiled "I am cheerful" "good, because I'm gonna need all the help I can get" Chloe laughed "you'll live".

Charlotte wasn't entirely sure on how the date would go tonight but she was anxious. While walking through the school she was in her own little bubble so she didn't register Chloe walking next to her "what you thinking about?" Charlotte smiled "tonight" Chloe nodded "well, should be fun, especially if Max isn't in a good mood" Charlotte grinned "is he?" Chloe shrugged "he wasn't happy when I saw him this morning, doubt that's changed" Charlotte nodded "go and see him" Chloe groaned "do I have to?" Charlotte nodded "yeah".

Chloe made her way to Max's office. When she got there she walked in "Chloe, what can I do for you?" Chloe sighed "I came to see if you were okay" Max smirked "why wouldn't I be?" Chloe rolled her eyes "you were in a right bad mood this morning" Max nodded "I'm fine" Chloe raised her eyebrows "sure about that?" Max smirked "of course" Chloe nodded "in that case I should go" Max nodded and Chloe left.

Chloe met with Charlotte outside "well?" Chloe rolled her eyes "anyone would think you were his Fiancee" Charlotte laughed "is he in a good mood or what?" Chloe scoffed "since when is Max ever in good mood?" Charlotte grinned "good point" Chloe smirked "fancy going to the chippy?" Charlotte nodded and they left the school.

Chloe and Charlotte returned from the chipshop and they noticed they were late "we're screwed" Chloe shrugged "we'll live". Instead of bothering with the rest of registration the girls made their way to English. Michael saw Chloe and walked over to her "why aren't you two in lesson?" Chloe grinned "we we're late coming back from lunch and we didn't wanna cause any disruption" Michael smirked "if anyone asks you both were with me" Chloe grinned "that's why you're the best uncle on the planet" Michael smirked and walked off "we got off with that?" Chloe smirked "yeah I'm his favourite niece" Charlotte laughed "would Max have let us get away with it?" Chloe scoffed "nope, he wouldn't".

When school had ended Chloe and Charlotte went to collect Aubree and Taitlyn from the creche "what time are we leaving tonight?" Chloe shrugged taxi is booked for 6 O'clock" Charlotte nodded. As Eddie and Rachel were in a meeting Chloe and Charlotte were walking home and Aubree had fallen asleep "I've told Tom that you and Max are joining us tonight" Chloe laughed "what did he say?" Charlotte grinned "he said at least there'll be someone there who he can have a semi decent conversation with" Chloe laughed "I'm assuming he doesn't mean me" Charlotte laughed "do Rachel and Eddie know they're babysitting?" Chloe shook her head "not yet, they'll know soon enough" Charlotte grinned.

Eddie and Rachel returned home Chloe had just got changed into the outfit she was wearing which was a white dress, sandals, she had done her hair into a high ponytail and puffed her fringe up "where are you off to?" Chloe grinned "me and Charlotte are going out" Rachel frowned "are you forgetting about Aubree and Taitlyn?" Chloe smirked "well yeah and we've decided that you and Eddie could babysit" Rachel was about to speak when Eddie laughed "come on Rach, we'll have fun" Rachel sighed "don't be too late then" Chloe grinned "we won't".

Chloe and Charlotte left the house when their taxi came "you look amazing Chloe" Chloe smiled "so do you". Arriving at the restaurant Chloe could tell Charlotte was nervous "calm down, everything is gonna be fine" Charlotte smiled. They entered the bar and saw Max and Tom "I'm so nervous" Chloe smiled "its gonna be fine, we're only having drinks, non alcoholic for me" Charlotte smiled and they walked over to Max and Tom. Max looked up as Chloe came over with Charlotte and he was shocked "hey" Max smirked and pulled her closer to him and he whispered in her ear "you look beautiful" Chloe grinned.

A few hours later Charlotte and Tom were chatting about Taitlyn and Chloe was growing bored so she stood from the table and walked over to the bar "what can I get you?" Chloe smiled "coke" the bartender nodded "any vodka?" Chloe shook her head "no thanks" the barteder handed Chloe her drink "so that guy over there, he your husband?" Chloe grinned "nope, we're engaged though" the bartender smirked "shame, we could have had some fun" Chloe laughed "if my Fiancee were to find out he wouldn't like that" "the name is Dean" Chloe smiled "Chloe". Max looked up to see Chloe standing at the bar laughing with the bartender so he stood from the table and walked over to them "Chloe" Chloe looked up at Max "hey" Max glared at the bartender "keep your hands off her" Chloe rolled her eyes but looked at Max "jealousy, again?" Max took Chloe's hand and pulled her off the stool "we're over there" Chloe grinned and followed Max back over to the table where Charlotte and Tom were still talking "where have you been Chloe?" Chloe winked "nowhere special" Charlotte nodded and turned back to Tom.

It was nearing 10:30pm so Chloe went outside to call herself and Charlotte a taxi. When she hung up she turned and saw Max "scare me half to death" Max smirked and placed his hands on Chloe's waist pulling her towards him "you could come back to my place" Chloe smiled "that wouldn't be for the best now would it?" Max smirked and went to kiss her "wait" Max stopped "what?" Chloe grinned "I never thanked you for tonight" Max kissed her just as Charlotte and Tom came out. The taxi arrived and took Chloe and Charlotte back home.

When Chloe went outside to call the taxi Charlotte noticed Max stand and follow her "another drink before we call it a night?" Charlotte turned to Tom "no thanks, I need to feed Taitlyn when we get back" Tom nodded "I think tonight went well" Charlotte grinned "yeah, thanks" Tom smiled and took her hand "I still love you" Charlotte grinned "I love you too" Tom looked into Charlotte's eyes and kissed her and she kissed back, she loved the taste of his lips on hers.

When Chloe and Charlotte got home they heard Aubree still awake "my mama" Chloe walked into the living room "nice night girls?" Chloe nodded as Aubree came over "mama" Chloe puck her up "why aren't you sleeping?" Aubree nestled her head in Chloe's neck "mama" Chloe said goodnight to everyone and went up to bed with Aubree. Chloe got Aubree settled and text Max -

*Chloe - thankyou for tonight.

*Max - its okay.

*Chloe - night.

*Max - night.

Chloe sighed and once Aubree was asleep she made her way into her own room. When she was changed for bed she climbed into her bed and checked her facebook account. Logging off she was just about to fall asleep when Charlotte came in "hiya" Chloe smiled "hi" Charlotte sat on the edge of Chloe's bed "I enjoyed tonight, me and Tom had an amazing chat" Chloe grinned "and a sneaky kiss?" Charlotte smiled and nodded "it felt right, it was like nothing would ever come between us again" Chloe smiled "that's well cute" Charlotte grinned "well I should head too bed" Chloe smiled "sleepover?" Charlotte nodded and climbed into bed next to Chloe "thanks for tonight Chloe" Chloe grinned "no problem, now let's go too sleep" Charlotte nodded and both girls fell asleep.
