It was nearing the end of the school trip and Chloe couldn't wait to see her baby girl, she had missed Aubree so much. That morning Chloe woke early so she went for a shower and got dressed. When she was dressed she left the Hotel room and went down to the lobby where she saw Max but she ignored him and went to the bar "lemonade please" the bartender handed Chloe her lemondade just as Max came over "what's in there?" Chloe rolled her eyes "lemonade, don't believe me, ask him" Max took the glass from Chloe and took her hand and pulled her from the barstool "what you playing at?" Max looked at her "keeping you from getting drunk" Chloe sighed "it was lemonade! I'm not drinking again" Max sighed "no-one said you were" Chloe scoffed "yeah right, I saw the look on your face when you saw me sat there, I'm not stupid" Max was about to speak when Chloe walked off.

Charlotte went downstairs just as she saw Chloe walking off from Max and frowned "Chloe, what's happened?" Chloe turned to her "Max, he thinks I'm drinking again. I'm not" Charlotte sighed "what gave him that impression?" Chloe shrugged "he saw me drinking lemonade and thought it was vodka. It was lemonade" Charlotte smiled "I believe you" Chloe sighed "then why doesn't Max?" Charlotte shrugged "I don't know, maybe you should talk too him?" Chloe scoffed "no" Charlotte grinned "you're being stubborn aren't you?" Chloe nodded "I am at the moment, he's annoyed me" Charlotte laughed "come on".

Chloe and Charlotte decided to go shopping "so, have you spoken to your mum?" Chloe shook her head "no, I'm scared too" Charlotte smiled "don't be" Chloe sighed "the last time I saw her she found out I was engaged to Max" Charlotte sighed "sure, she'll be mad about that but you're her only daughter and I'm sure she'll have cooled down by now" Chloe shrugged "maybe". While they were shopping Chloe had started buying Aubree birthday presents "Aubree doesn't look like she's nearing two does she?" Chloe shook her head "no, she looks like she's nearing one" Charlotte smiled "I reckon when she's about four she'll look like she's three" Chloe grinned "I know, she's gonna be my midget baby forever" Charlotte laughed "how did Max react when he held Aubree?" Chloe smiled "he looked happy, I think" Charlotte smiled "anyone seeing her for the first time would be happy, she's so cute and adorable" Chloe grinned "when she wants to be" Charlotte smiled and they continued their shopping trip.

When they got back to the Hotel Chloe saw Max standing at the bar "hyppocrite or what?" Charlotte frowned "what?" "Him, at the bar" Charlotte smiled "who says he's drinking?" Chloe rolled her eyes "look at his glass" "ah" Chloe nodded "yeah, I'll catch you up" Charlotte nodded "okay, I'll take your bags" Chloe smiled and Charlotte took Chloe's bags and she went upstairs while Chloe walked over to Max.

Chloe could tell that Max was getting drunk "shouldn't you be setting an example to us students" Max smirked "ah Chloe, have a drink" Chloe rolled her eyes "no, because you're not having anymore" Chloe turned to the bartender "coffee please",the baretender handed Chloe the coffee and walked off "drink this" Max took the coffee and began sobering up "welcome back to reality" Max smirked "where have you been?" Chloe shrugged "shopping" Chloe looked at Max who was still sobering up "I think you should go and sober up elsewhere" Chloe watched as Max left the bar "shouldn't someone keep an eye on him?" Chloe looked at the bartender and shrugged "he'll live" the bartender smirked and Chloe walked off back to her room.

Max had sobered up and he wanted to see Chloe so he text her -

*Max - my room.

*Chloe - no can do, busy.

Max read Chloe's reply and frowned, he knew she wasn't busy so she was avoiding him. He walked down to Chloe and Charlotte's room, knocking the door he waited for a few minutes and Chloe answered wearing her dressing gown "who's in there?" Chloe frowned "no-one, why?" Max glared "Chloe, tell me" Chloe rolled her eyes "check if you don't believe me" Max moved Chloe out the way and searched her room, when he found no-one there he turned to Chloe who had a smirk "I told you no-one was in here" Max nodded "why are you dressed like that?" Chloe shrugged "I was about to have a shower" Max smirked "so what were you doing that you couldn't come to me?" Chloe grinned "didn't feel like making the mission up to your room" Max again smirked as Chloe walked into the bathroom. She came out 5 minutes later wearing black shorts, white vest top and boots "still here?" Max placed his hands on Chloe's waist and pulled her towards him "I think you should come up to my room" Chloe smiled "I don't think I should".

Charlotte had agreed to go for a meal with Tom to discuss Taitlyn's care and who got her but when they arrived at the restaurant Tom hadn't mentioned Taitlyn instead he talked about anything other their daughter "look Tom, I agreed to meet with you for Taitlyn but if we're not gonna discuss her then I'm going" Tom sighed "Charlotte, I want Taitlyn to have us both in her life" Charlotte looked at Tom "how do you mean?" Tom smiled "I want us to be together" Charlotte sighed "I don't think I can" "why not?" Charlotte shrugged "after everything that's happened, I need to focus on myself and being a good mum for Taitlyn" Tom smiled "I can help you and we can raise our daughter together".

Chloe eventually went up to Max's room and when she got there he started kissing her with passion "I knew I shouldn't have come up here" Max smirked and pulled her over to the bed and began undressing her. A couple hours later Chloe lay in bed with Max "I think I should go back to my room" Max smirked "you should stay" Chloe was about to speak when Max started kissing her "Chloe, I love you" Chloe smiled "I love you too" Max started kissing her neck.

Charlotte knew that Tom wanted her back and she was trying hard not too fall for him again "Tom, I'll be willing to work with you for Taitlyn but that's as far as I can go, I will probably always love you but I can't be with you" Tom sighed "Charlotte please I love you and you love me too" "I know I do Tom but things wouldn't work out, after last time" Tom took her hand "it won't be like that again, we can work our relationship out" Charlotte wanted to kiss him but she didn't want to be the heartbroken one again. Returning to the Hotel Charlotte went to her room and saw Chloe sitting on her bed and she looked flustered "have a nice evening?" Chloe nodded "yeah, did you?" Charlotte smiled "yeah".

* the next day*

Everyone was on the coach driving towards to the ferry and Chloe thought about what would happen when she got back. Once on the ferry Chloe and Charlotte went up on deck "been an eventful trip" Chloe nodded "yeah, way too eventful" Charlotte grinned "let's hope there's no more trips yet" Chloe laughed "yeah".

They arrived back at the school at around 10pm and Chloe saw Eddie "hiya girls" Chloe smiled as Charlotte ran into Eddie's arms "I missed you Eddie" Eddie smiled "I missed you too" Chloe looked at Max who smirked and got into his car driving off "come on, let's get you home". Arriving home Chloe was shaking "everythings gonna be alright" Chloe smiled and walked into the house "mama" Aubree came toddling into the hallway and Chloe scooped her daughter up "I've missed you so much" Aubree wrapped her arms around Chloe's neck "let's get you too bed" Chloe said goodnight to Charlotte and Eddie and took Aubree upstairs to bed. When Aubree had fallen asleep Chloe went into her room and just as she got into bed Rachel came in "hiya love" Chloe gave a small smile "we need to talk about you and Max" Chloe sighed and Rachel spoke "how long ago did he propose?" Chloe sighed "3weeks ago" Rachel nodded "okay, why did you say yes?" Chloe shrugged "I don't know, it felt like the right thing" Rachel sighed "Chloe, is he forcing you?" Chloe shook her head "no, he's not" Rachel hugged Chloe "listen, you head to sleep and we'll talk about this some more tomorrow" Chloe nodded and as Rachel left Chloe fell asleep.
