Tom had gone looking for Charlotte as he needed to apologise to her. He was driving by the beach and thought he saw someone standing right by the sea so he got out his car and walked down, paling when he noticed it was Charlotte...
-------Now------

Tom cautiously approached Charlotte "Charlotte?" Charlotte jumped a mile "stay away" Tom frowned "I'm not gonna do that, just like I know you're gonna do anything stupid" Charlotte rolled her eyes"why not? You hate me" Tom frowned "no I don't".

Chloe was sorting herself after what had happened in Max's office, she didn't regret it one bit "I never meant what I said" Max looked at her "I know" Chlke walked over to him and kissed him again.

Tom was having a hard time trying to get Charlotte to come away from the water "you don't wanna do this, think of our little girl, she needs you" Charlotte shook her head "I can't handle it, Rhiannon's rumours, you hating me" Tom frowned "I don't hate you" Charlotte nodded "you think I kissed Josh" Tom sighed "he told me he kissed you, after Chloe slapped me" Charlotte turned to him "she hit you?" Tom nodded "yeah, I don't blame her, she's looking out for you" Charlotte turned back to the water "out there it's so peaceful" Charlotte went into the ocean abit "Charlotte, come on don't do this".

Chloe left the office when Eddie approached her "have you received a text from Tom?" Chloe got her phone and saw she had been sent a text from Tom -

Tom - You  & Eddie need to get too the beach now!

Chloe frowned "we need to get too  the beach" Eddie nodded.

Tom hoped he had done the right thing by getting Chloe and Eddie as Charlotte had gone further into the water. He sighed in relief when Eddie and Chloe approached "what's going on?" Tom pointed towards the sea and Chloe was shocked "is that Charlotte?" Tom nodded "yeah" Eddie made a move to approach Charlotte "no, let me go" Eddie nodded and Chloe walked down to the water "Charlotte?".

Charlotte turned when she heard Chloe's voice "come on, this water is freezing" Charlotte shook her head "I can't Chloe, I can't go back there" Chloe sighed as she took off her jacket, cardigan and shoes "fine, I wanna know what's so peaceful about being in this water anyway".

Eddie watched as Chloe went into the water "they're both gonna catch their deaths" Tom wasn't listening, he was focused on watching Charlotte.

Chloe was standing next to Charlotte "look, this water is freezing cold and I know you don't really wanna do this" Charlotte nodded "yeah I do, everyone is better off without me" Chloe frowned "don't ever say that" Charlotte shrugged "It's true" Chloe shook her head "no it's not, look I need you, you were there for me when we moved up here and I didn't have Max and I was an alkie" Charlotte saw the tears in Chloe's eyes "don't do this, please" before Charlotte could say anything a wave came and she lost her footing so she slipped and went under the water "no!" Chloe dived under and went to get her from under.

Eddie and Tom watched in horror as Charlotte and Chloe disappeared under the water "get an ambulance" Tom got his phone and dialled 999.

Chloe had gotten Charlotte and she was taking her back to shore "Eddie, she slipped when a wave came!" Eddie took Charlotte from Chloe just as Tom came over "an ambulance is coming, I also called.Rachel and Max".

Chloe was standing by Tom while Eddie tried to wake Charlotte up. Max and Rachel had arrived at the beach and rushed over "what happened?" Chloe who was shivering looked up "s-she was trying too end her life but I think I managed to convince her not to t-then a wave came and she slipped and went under" Rachel walked over to her daughter and took off her jacket to keep her warm "she's gonna be alright".

The ambulance had arrived and they had said that Charlotte was lucky to be alive, she had been taken to hospital while Chloe had been checked over and she was fine but she was freezing. Rachel had gone with Tom while Chloe sat on the beach "Chloe?" Chloe looked to see Max standing above her "you need to be kept warm" Chloe shrugged "Im fine" Max sighed and pulled Chloe up "I'll take you home and then go and collect Aubree" Chloe shook her head "I wanna go back to school" Max frowned "you can't" Chloe sighed "why not?" Max gave her a look that said 'do you really have to ask?' "Chloe, you're soaking wet".

Charlotte had woken up but she wasn't in a talkative mood "why did you do it?" Charlotte shrugged "I don't know, I just couldn't handle it anymore, the rumours or the dirty looks" Eddie took his daughter's hand "if you ever feel like that again I want you too come to me" Charlotte wiped her eyes "is Chloe okay? I remember her standing next to me" Eddie smiled "she's the one who got you from out the water, she's okay  though" Charlotte nodded.

Max had convinced Chloe to go home while he went to get Aubree. When she was alone her phone rang

Phonecall

Chloe - Hello?

Charlotte - Its me

Chloe - are you okay?

Charlotte - yeah, I'm fine, How are you?

Chloe - I'm freezing, I'm sitting right by the fire.

Charlotte - I'm sorry.

Chloe - Don't be, You're my bestie, I'd do it all over again too

Charlotte - I'm being discharged, I'll call or text you later?

Chloe - Yeah, you better,

Charlotte - haha, I will

Phonecall

Chloe hung up and sat on the sofa.

Eddie and Charlotte returned home and Eddie made Charlotte sit on the sofa with the fleece blanket "Eddie, I need a  word" Eddie stood and followed Rachel into the kitchen "I think we should get Charlotte some help" Eddie nodded "yeah, you're right" Rachel smiled "Michael's said he can arrange it from school".

Charlotte had just climbed into bed and she received a text, looking she saw it was Tom -

Tom - Hope you're okay, Remember that I love you xxx

Charlotte - I'm fine, I love you too  hows Taitlyn? xxx

Tom - she's fine, I can't wait to hold you in my arms again xxx

Charlotte - :) I'm going too sleep, night xxx

Tom - night xxx

Charlotte didn't reply, instead she turned her phone off and fell asleep determined to never get so low again.

Aubree had just been taken to bed so Chloe sat on the sofa with Max who was doing paperwork "you're not in school tomorrow" Chloe frowned "why?" Max sighed "because you need to recover" Chloe rolled her eyes "I'm fine, I got a bit wet so sue me" Max put his papers down and looked at her "Chloe, you're staying home tomorrow, if I have to I'll stay here too" Chloe grinned "wow" Max kissed her and she went up too bed leaving him downstairs
