Chloe hadn't text or spoken to Chlo since Charlotte's engagenent party and if she was honest she didn't care, Chlo had always acted like a drama queen when it came down to it.
That morning Chloe sat in bed with Max as it was only 5:15am "you should talk to your mother" Chloe rolled her eyes "since when did you care about my mum?" Max sighed "she cares about you Chloe" Chloe nodded "I know she does but she wants me away from you" Max smirked "she won't" Chloe grinned just as Max kissed her.
Arriving at school Chloe took Aubree from the car and said goodbye to Max "mama" Chloe grinned "Aubree" Aubree giggled just as Charlotte came over "morning" Chloe smiled "hey, how's things?" Charlotte shrugged "never better, Tom's going to speak to Chlo" Chloe nodded "that's good" Charlotte smiled "yeah, he doesn't wanna lose either of us".
Once Aubree and Taitlyn were in the creche Chloe and Charlotte made their way to registration "have you spoken to your mum?" Chloe sighed "no, I don't know what to say" Charlotte nodded "well, if you need any help then I'm happy" Chloe smiled "thanks, I just wish she'd accept that I love Max. It wasn't planned, Aubree wasn't planned but I don't regret none of it" Charlotte smiled "you're marrying him so I think she should accept it".
As the girls had the first two lessons free they decided to head into town "I cant believe that Taitlyn's birthday is coming up" Chloe grinned "believe me, the first year goes quick" Charlotte smiled "I wanna keep her as my baby forever" Chloe laughed "same, seeing Aubree for the first time I realised that she needed me more than what anyone else did" Charlotte smiled.
While in town Chloe brought some cute dresses for Aubree "how many dresses does she have?" Chloe grinned "she's my princess so she needs a load of them" Charlotte laughed "she's a right girly girl isn't she?" Chloe nodded just as her phone went off signalling a text -
0788456346 - Meet in the café by the beach. Now!
Chloe frowned "we have too go meet someone" Charlotte was confused "who?" Chloe showed Charlotte the text "do you know the number?" Chloe shrugged "I think I might".
Arriving at the Café Chloe and Charlotte took a seat and waited. When the person came in Chloe got angry "YOU?!" Chloe's Aunt Carol and her Gran stood side by side "hello Chloe" Chloe was fuming "what the hell do you want?" Chloe's Gran smirked "we want to meet Aubree-Leigh, she is related to us" Chloe scoffed "she is nothing to you, she doesn't know you and she's not gonna know you" Carol grinned "that's where you're wrong, you are my niece therefore so is she, therefore we want to meet her" Chloe rolled her eyes and stood "stay away from me and stay away from my daughter". Chloe and Charlotte left "I wanna get Aubree and go home" Charlotte smiled "Okay".
Max sat in his office when he saw Chloe and Charlotte walk past the office so he stood and went after them "why are you not in lesson?" Chloe turned to Max "because I'm getting Aubree and going" Max frowned "what's happened?" Chloe sighed "it doesn't matter, but let me go" Max nodded "is Charlotte going with you?" Chloe looked at Charlotte who nodded "yeah, I'll go with her" again Max nodded.
When Chloe and Charlotte got back to Chloe and Max's they went to sit outside with Aubree and Taitlyn "it must have been hard seeing them" Chloe sighed "it was, last time I saw them they told me I was nothing to them" Charlotte smiled "you don't need them" Chloe grinned "you're right, don't think I've ever needed them".
Eddie arrived to pick Charlotte up and Max returned home "what happened?" Chloe sighed "my dad's mum and sister are in Scotland" Max frowned "have you seen them?" Chloe nodded "yeah, they wanted to meet Aubree" Max nodded "they aren't seeing her" Chloe sighed "I know, I'm not stupid" Max pulled Chloe up from the grass and kissed her.
Charlotte had just eaten dinner so she decided to text Tom -
Charlotte - Good luck with Chlo. Remeber, I love you xx
Tom - Thanks. I love you too xx
Charlotte grinned at the text and fell asleep after settling Taitlyn.
Once Aubree had fallen asleep Chloe got changed for bed and went downstairs to Max "Aubree is out like a light" Max nodded "that's good" Chloe grinned and went to sit next to Max who was doing paperwork "stop that" Max smirked and Chloe kissed him, he kissed back.
A few hours later they both fell asleep, unaware about the person standing outside.
