IT HAD BEEN A FEW DAYS, AND YOU AND ZENITSU WERE FINALLY TAKING PART IN WHAT SHINOBU CALLED 'REHABILITATION TRAINING'.
zenitsu was worried, because tanjiro and inosuke had been doing it for a few days, and every day they would come back exhausted and ignore all his questions.
neither you, nor zenitsu were able to participate yet, due to his arms and legs still being too short, and your wounds were still healing.

"first, over there you will lie down and those girls will loosen up your stiff muscles." she explains, you see tanjiro and inosuke shudder.
"then reflex training." everyone turns forwards, sitting at a table was shinobu's tsuguko*, kanao. there were multiple cups at the table, each filled with a liquid.
"each of these cups contains medicinal tea that can be applied topically. you will compete to see who has to take the medicine. if your opponent holds down your cup before you can raise it, then you have to 'drink'."
she places a hand in her chest, "finally, full-body training. simply put, we play tag. your opponents are me and kanao over there."
tanjiro and inosuke look down with a grim look, while zenitsu has a somewhat dark but weird look on his face.
"excuse me, may we have a moment?" zenitsu says.
you raise an eyebrow.
"do you have a question?"
zenitsu stands up, "no it's just.. come on, you two. [name], you stay here."
tanjiro tilts his head in question.
"nope" inosuke says simply.
"i'm telling you to just come with me!!!"
your eyes go slightly widen in shock, zenitsu grabs the two by the back of their collars.
"come on! grah! you scum! you trash!"
tanjiro makes a weird screaming sound, while inosuke stays depressingly quiet.
all the girls, minus kanao, blink in shock as zenitsu screaming could be heard in the room.
