YOU AND TANJIRO BOTH LET OUT LOUD, DETERMINED SCREAMS AS YOU STRUGGLE TO PUSH YOUR BLADES FURTHER INTO GYUUTAROS NECK.
both blade were just barely breaking the skin, yet yours was just a smidge farther down.
"gyuutaro!!" daki screams.
you let out a small annoyed cry as your blade refuses to go any further down.
"wait! no way! i can't let those kids cut off your head!" she sends a whole bunch of obi your way, but they're all cut off by a familiar strike of lightning.
you breathe out from your nose in relief, gritting your teeth so hard you swear you would almost break one.
zenitsu and daki were out of sight with a crack of thunder as you and tanjiro continue to struggle.
you grunt as gyuutaro starts to push his arms up, you curse as he brings himself to use a blood art, repelling your swords backwards.
you both stumble back, blocking the blood blades which would surely rip you to pieces.
"you little brats!" gyutaro screams.
your eyes go wide as gyuutaro swings the sickle right in your face, but it's blocked by a very injured uzui who was somehow alive.
your eyes go wide.
"i perfected the musical score technique! i'm going for the win!!"
he deflects all the blood blades, giving you time to hop in and help him a bit.
you gasp out as gyuutaro swivels the sickles passed you, piercing uzui in the stomach and slicing him through the eye. you also get a nice cut along your chest on the way.
"uzui-san!! [name]!!!" tanjiro screams.
"don't stop! jump!" uzui orders, you and uzui pierce your blades in gyuutaro's very slim stomach, pushing it away.
tanjiro jumps up, getting pierced through the bottom of the chin with the sickle but pushing on anyways.
you scream out, taking your blade out of his chest - uzui's was proving to be enough - and swinging it into the other side of gyuutaro's neck than tanjiro had.
you push all your body's strength towards your arms, tanjiro screams out, his eyes going pupil-less and the scar on his forehead growing in size.
your blade pierces through his neck, you shout out loudly.
everyone was screaming now, your ears were starting to bleed.
you push your body further, forcing the blade to go through his tough neck.
with a final determined shout both blades had gone through his neck, sending the head flying and rolling onto the ground.
ripping to sickle from tanjiro's chin, gyuutaro shoves it into your leg, determined to kill someone off at least.
you cough and wheeze, falling to the ground. tanjiro was the same. you couldn't breathe, your lungs were closing up and no air would come in.
you attempt to bring shaky hand to your chest but it wouldn't move. you were practically stuck in place. your body was convulsing in pain and tiredness, you felt as if you were about to drop dead right then and there.
you couldn't hear anything except some muffled shouting, it was coming from uzui.
uzui-san.. he's saying something.. i can't.. understand..
the final thing you could hear before you fell to the ground was a loud, distraught,
"ruuuunnnnnn!!!!"
