"IT'S NO USE! THEY WON'T WAKE UP!"
tanjiro calls after trying to wake the three of them up after nezuko had burnt each of their ropes.
out of the corner of your eye, you see a girl with black hair swinging a small blade of sorts towards you and tanjiro.
you narrow your eyes and jump back, pulling tanjiro with you.
the girl looks at you both angry, you purse your lips,
is the demon controlling her?
"don't interfere! because of you.. he won't let us dream!!"
you frown,
she's doing this willingly? the demon must be using some sort of manipulation.
you look around, you were now surrounded by a few other people, one male looking extremely mad and annoyed, while the other is on the ground with a dazed sort of look on his face, he was sitting where tanjiro was.
"and what are you doing?! if you're awake, help out!!" the girl who just tried to stab you both yells at the male on the ground.
"i don't know about your tuberculosis or whatever.. but if you don't do your job.. i'll tell him so he doesn't let you dream!!" she shouts angrily.
you frown, the one who seemed to be previously connected to tanjiro was crying, he looked frail and sad.
your eyes turn to the other male, he had a furious look on his face.
"you bitch!!"
you turn to him and narrow your eyes.
"who was that fucker in your dream?! that son of a bitch broke my wrist!"
you raise an eyebrow,
who is he talking about? i was with everyone in that dream for basically the whole time?
he growls, "you know?! that one with the black hair! he had purple scars all over his face and arms and these deep blue eyes!"
your eyebrows furrow with slight wide eyes,
who could have been in my dream by that description? but.. the only person i knew with 'deep blue eyes'... it couldn't be
"sorry" you snap out of your thoughts, "but we have to go fight"
tanjiro knocks out the three by him, while you knock out he male who was yelling at you.
what could he have been talking about? there's no way. i must just be overthinking.
"you want to stay in a happy dream, right? i understand. i wanted to stay in my dream, too"
you look away, you didn't want to admit it, but how desperately you wanted to stay in your own dream as well.
"are you all right?" tanjiro asks the male as nezuko clings onto your sleeve.
the male smiles, "thank you. and be careful"
tanjro smiles at him, "yup!" . you just nod and bow at him.
you all now run towards the end of the train cart, as soon as we get out there, tanjiro covers his nose. "pee-yew!"
you purse your lips and frown, looking out of the cart and trying to peer up on top of the cart, you could just barely see a pair of feet in the distance,
that must be the demon
tanjiro pulls himself up the top, you do the same after him.
"nezuko! stay there!! it's too dangerous!! go wake everyone up!!" tanjiro shouts to nezuko who looks up at you both in worry.
you smile slightly at her, "stay safe, nezuko"

YOU GLARE AT THE DEMON WHO WAS IN FRONT OF YOU BOTH.
he had black hair with two strand from the back tinted a different colour at the bottom. he had identical marks of three squares fading from yellow to green just underneath his eyes. though engraved in his eyes, was 'lowermoon one'
you frown,
lowermoon one. that's the strongest of the lower ranks..
"oh, you're both awake?" the demon waves.
"good morning."
your glare hardens,
don't get so friendly.
"you should have stayed asleep. i was showing you both such a good dream. "boy, you should thank me - i could've shown your family being slaughtered"
you frown, "and girl, you should also be thanking me - i showed you what it would be like to have a nice, happy, and full family, didn't i?"
you look at him with anger-filled eyes.
"boy, next time, shall i show you your father coming back to life?" the demon asks with a smile before turning to you again, "and you - i showed you the best dream yet! but next time i can show you all your little friends back at that silly school?"
