Radiant blue sky expanding large on the horizon, the chirping of birds and the whooshing sound of the soothing wind gave away the much-needed tranquillity to the restless souls. The day felt brighter and merrier as the Abidi family sat in the backyard of their rented villa soaking in the sun while drinking tea and enjoying the last day of their trip.
"Asmara and her shopping are never-ending circles she would make you walk the entire mall and each showroom but she will buy that same dress which she had seen the first time and fell in love with. It's risk-taking Asmara with you for a shopping gudiya I am warning you" Malakesh sipped her tea as she complains about her daughter shopping habits to Abeer.
"Ammi!" Asmara whines at her mother for complaining about her in front of everyone.
Tanveer chuckles at her for whining like a five-year-old and yet looked adorable to him. He thought for a sec before striking the striker that slides past through the black and brown coins dropping the Queen into the pocket winning against Zeeshan in the game, he realised that he is in deep shit that someone's whining felt adorable to him. God only knows what's gonna happen to him if he kept liking such behaviours of her.
Shaking his head he looks up to find Asmara raising her perfectly arched eyebrow at him for chuckling at her. Holding her hazel orbs, Tanveer simply leans back in her chair with a taunting smirk. Asmara rolls her eyes at him for being a douchebag.
"It's fine with me Chachi I can assure you I won't ever get tired of it plus finding my designer walima dress will ultimately be a crazy haunting because I don't settle for less" Abeer replied with a dreamy grin on her face.
"Right" Asmara nodded ignoring Tanveer and his smirks.
"And shopping without my sisters? Impossible" Abeer said while dipping her good day biscuit in her tea.
Zoha grinned at her sister gang while Asmara mouthed an I love you towards Abeer.
"Woh alag baat hai, k tumhare sasural wale agree karna chaiye, tumhe designer dress kahreed kar dene k liye" Ruhana sneered at her daughter high hopes.
"Mujhe nahi maloom mai toh aapne nikah me sab designer pehnungi bas chahe mere sasural wale ya mayke wale raazi ho ya na ho" Abeer declared with a finality that she won't opt for less.
"Aapke hone wale shohar se aisi maang karna" Ruhana teased her once again whereas Abeer narrowed her eyes at her mother.
"Kyun tang kar rahi ho Ruhana baji humeri bachi ko," Jasmina said as she runs her hand through Abeer's hair lovingly "hum la denge aap k liye aapke walima ka dress woh bhi bade designer se" she smiles at Abeer softly.
Smiling excitedly at Jasmina Abeer turned and stuck her tongue out at her mother.
"Bigad dogi tum Jasmina isse koi zarwat nahi hai isse kuch designer dilwane ki sar nahi chadana hai isse. Iske sasural wale jhele iski maange" Ruhana hit her daughter's arm.
Abeer feigned a hurt look at her mother whilst rubbing her stinging area on her arm.
"Toh kya hua dulhan ki farmaishein toh poori honi chaiye kyun Azeem bhai?" Jasmine gained Azeem's attention who had his head dug deep in the newspaper as a way to keep himself away from any sort of ladies conversation.
"Ji?" He asked raising his head out of the newspaper. Ruhana glared at him for being ignorant and that had him keep away the newspaper instantly "Ji bilkul" he nodded at Jasmina with a straight face not knowing what else to say.
