She could still feel the burning tingling sensation as if he had imprinted his mark on her wrist. She still remembers how dark his pupils were like those of dark clouds that would thunder down all the pent-up wrath of desire and she shudders at the thought of those dark eyes consuming her whole.
She rubs a slow circle around her wrist closing her eyes and reminiscing the way his lips felt against her skin and how her heart had gone haywire crazily thumping at a supersonic rate. She could still feel them pound heavily against her chest and suddenly her breathing got heavy with every rise and fall of her chest she knew how badly she was affected by him but her eyes opened surprisingly with a soft gasp when an illicit thought of him having his way with her crossed her mind.
It felt like she was burning herself in the fascination of something that might be great destruction or a blessing in disguise.
And strangely enough, it didn't terrify her, instead, it excited her something was changed within her because inside she was hoping to have such an explicit experience for once.
She paused all her thoughts and took a glance at herself in the rearview mirror of her car to see her cheeks faintly flushed her eyes looking different rather than usual and she felt like she had done something illicit inside her car which she didn't, it made her think twice to go inside the house of her father which was stupid.
She needs to get inside the house before her mind takes another u-turn and ruins another of her fifteen minutes of sitting in the car doing nothing but drowning her in forbidden thoughts.

'I've gone off the rails' Arsalan thought as he sat behind his huge desk with piles of paperwork flooding over them but he cared less. He'd gone off the fucking track that he had maintained all this while long to never have her on his back but he'd known one step closer to her will break all the barriers he had built for himself back when they got married and that one fucking feel of her skin against his lips did that. He no longer has the potential to maintain that barrier anymore. Because whatever had happened inside their room had imprinted in his heart and that stupid heart craves for more. The way those brown eyes had slightly gone round on kissing her wrist the way she looked at him like he had the power of taking her breaths away the way they always make him captivated and at that moment everything about her felt right as if that moment was for them to treasure for them to keep it safe and for them to cherish.
What he had thought of doing and what he has been doing have a huge difference now. He thought he would never let Sofia have a peaceful life if she was tied up with him forever. Why? Because he was a piece of shit to think only about himself, a selfish useless idiot who feared that she would open all the barriers and get inside his most vulnerable part and use it to her advantage to destroy him for once and for all that's what everybody has ever done to him. He has gone through that phase once and he does not want to go through it again. Ever. But the fear lies still somewhere within him that scares him to take a step ahead to get closer to those feelings which people say are utter bliss.
Yet he was burning fighting with the fire within him and they tended to blaze with so much vigour whenever he was near her. Was he the only one burning? Why is it that whenever he tries to run he ends up near her? Why is it every time he wants to get far away from her but wants to be close to her? Why the hell does it have to be so complicated?
He rakes a frustrated hand through his hair with a heavy sigh. No woman until now had him so riled up like this and it was getting hard to wind it down.
The knock on the door yanked him out of his daylight misery named Sofia.
Misha comes inside his cabin with another pile of papers in her hand and looking at those stacks Arsalan groans inwardly. His entire day going to be brained fucked by the hundreds of paperwork.
