The sun rose to its horizon casting its ray everywhere turning the dark into the bright bringing a new day full of life.
The satin sheets tangled up on her smooth long legs, thick brown hairs covering her face, voluminous lashes resting on her cheek, her pink plump lips slightly parted, hands seeking the warmth of her stain quilt as she pulled them up to her chin. She was the literal beauty even in her sleep.
Sofia had spent her night with her family. Stayed late with Zulfiqar talking with him as she laid her head on his lap and he ran his fingers through her hair. She told him about the campaign, how excited she was and how positive she was. He told her about his work and got scolded for not taking care of himself. She threatened him that upon not taking care of himself she will leave Abidi House and come back here to which Zulfiqar laughed but promised to give his health a priority.
She then did a movie night with Bi Jaan and Shahana in the living room their go to go movie Bombay to Goa of 1972 the iconic. Late at night, she sat with Shahana after saying her goodnights to Bi Jaan they discussed their campaign, talked about designs drew some rough ones and went to bed at five am in the morning. Shahana had taken the guest room down the stairs for a day. She had handed one of her erotic novels e-book link to Sofia so that she could get into the world of lovemaking and Shahana could get the benefits of being an aunt.
Sofia had tossed the idea of reading the book but changed her mind when she wasn't able to sleep and she ends up reading ten chapters instead of reading one which she decided as a trial but the book got her hooked and she couldn't stop so she had been awake until six in the morning and doze off when her tried eyes couldn't take anymore.
She had received a text message from Asmara that everything was good back at home. Zaid's grandmother was recovering and the doctors decided to give her discharge the next morning.
Her day went peacefully, amazing that she didn't want to get up and start anew. Sleep was all she wanted now.

He didn't know that marriage includes picking up and dropping off your wife. He was doing that since yesterday and he was doing it yet again. No one back at home was able to contact Sofia. It was eleven in the morning and as much as he knew she would be up and doing stuff which she normally does by now. Apparently, it did not sit well with Malakeh when she tried calling her for the tenth time and got no answer. Even though Sofia was at her own house where nothing could go wrong, Malakeh demanded her son to visit Noor Villa and get her back to Abidi House for the sweet making ritual that was to happen today. He didn't know that was the actual reason or she just couldn't get herself to say that she misses her daughter in law to be home already.
Flashes of yesterday have been haunting him the entire night and in the morning following him everywhere to wherever he has gone. He tried not to remember them, not to get affected by them but all in vain. All he could see was her face when he had pinned her to his car, the gasp that left her pretty mouth, the way she had shut her eyes as if she could feel every touch of his, arousing a whirlwind within her all that was haunting him, giving him the trouble to be sane.
His jaw tensed at the picture of her like that had his blood rushing down to his veins making him shift uncomfortably in his seat.
While turning his steering wheel to the right he sets his mind to be in the right direction. He gotta be serious with things relating to Sofia and maintain distance so that he doesn't lose his sanity to that temptress.

Sofia moans in protest when she hears the continuous knock on her bedroom door breaking her peaceful sleep. She tries to ignore it but it doesn't stop so she throws the quilt covering her to the other side of her bed and pushes her sleepy body up to get to the door. Her wild bangs cover her face, a strap of her camisole nightwear falling off her shoulder as she stumbles her way to the door still in her sleepy state.
