"Asmara, Abeer, Zoha chalo bhi der hori hai," Malakeh shouted from the living room for the girls as they were getting late to go to Noor Villa.
Today was Sofia's mehndi and as per the tradition in Abidi's the mehndi has to be presented by the groom side to the bride. Malakeh and her sisters-in-law have already prepared everything and all they need was to get out of the house and reach Noor Villa before the function starts but the girls were taking too long to get themselves down.
Arsalan and all his other male cousins were having their late breakfast they all had stayed up late in the night at their sister's request to have a get together in Arsalan's room whom they had planned to tease the hell out of him. Zaid and Tanveer being mischievous of all agreed at once and seize Arsalan's room with night snacks and drinks ready to have a great time of their life. Because teasing Arsalan Niyamat Abidi was once in a lifetime chance.
"Arsalan bhaijaan kaisi lag rahi hu?" Abeer came into the dining area and twirl around to show off her outfit. She was wearing a beautiful emerald green anarkali with her hair done in a low bun leaving out some of the strands at the front.
"Bohot hi pyaari" Arsalan commented. Abeer was closest to Zeeshan, Arsalan and Azhar as she was the first girl born in the family and her brothers pampered her with endless love.
"Woh toh mai hu" she fake flips her hair making her brothers chuckle.
Zaid had averted his eyes. He wasn't able to look at her after yesterday night when he came to know about her wedding he scolded himself for ogling at her who was already someone else's. Astaghfirullah!
"Ya Allah! Abeer tumhara eyeliner toh kharab ho gaya!" Tanveer said in a fake horrified tone.
"Sahi me?" Abeer looked at her older brother with a worried look on her face and Zeeshan just shook his head in no smiling at her with adoration.
"Kitne bekar hain aap Tanno bhai," Abeer said emphasising his nickname with the sickly sweet tone.
Tanveer stuck his tongue out at her which looked white as he was drinking milk and Abeer made a disgusting face at her brother.
"Tanno?" Came Asmara's voice and Tanveer groan inwardly while imagining whacking Abeer's head.
Asmara was wearing a forest green colour long kurti that reached just above her ankles with light embroidery on them with the same colour palazzo underneath and a plain dupatta covering around her neck area. She looked so alluring to a stern eye sitting around the dining table.
"Haan humare Tanveer bhai ka nickname hai," Abeer said with a teasing smile directed towards his mischievous brother. Tanveer ignored her with a roll of his eyes. Asmara chuckles at the nickname mentally preparing herself to tease him with it.
"Tanveer bhai thode paise de dein" Zoha walked into the dining table and went straight towards her old brother who didn't think twice before removing his wallet to give some cash to his sister.
"Thank you," said Zoha to whom in return he kissed her forehead "cute lagri hai meri behan" Zoha scrunched her nose and he pokes it with his forefinger making her laugh. Zoha was Tanveer's soul he had to do everything for her to make her smile. He can't lose her twice he still remembers how she was barely taking breaths when she had almost given up on her life fighting from the disease of double typhoid. Asmara swoon at the brother-sister duo's love. Zoha was wearing a mint green kurti that reached near her knees with white cigarette pants and an ombre dupatta of the same colour.
"Ya Allah aise bhai sab ko mile. Ameen" came the familiar voice and as soon as they recognised it the girls exclaimed together "bhabhi!" leaving the boys out who just shook their head on their sisters.
