The manor was slowly filling with guests now that the days were near and the wedding festival would start taking place. The manor finally looked like a festive house with the hustling and bustling of the maids and the well-known wedding planners who have slowly started decorating the house.

It was chilly outside yet the boys had decided to play a football match. It was a match between Ruhana's side of the family and the Abidi boys. They all agreed on the bet while having their evening tea that was just called out as a typical gathering to get to know each other which unwantedly escalated to a face-off match as the opposite team challenged the Abidi boys by degrading them not to be better than them. Tanveer scoffed at their faces saying he had only believed if they brought themselves onto the field. The elders protested at the idea but what was said was said and they were ready to go rough.

Arsalan cursed under his breath he wasn't ready for a match after directly coming from the failed conference meeting. His mind was not up for strategies right now but backing away would be like breaking the brother code going straight to the room for a needed rest to his wife and letting them fail the match.

And the said wife has been ghosting him since he returned from the hotel. It was like even if he wanted to put his hand on her he couldn't not in front of everyone present yet she silently provoked him by doing things that were making him go crazy. Like when he had to sit next to his eldest uncle because there was no place to sit next to her that she intently switched upon seeing him that one thing was not enough for her to torture him she decided to do more knowing that he wouldn't be able to do anything in presence of the elder and licked off all the cookie crumbs from her fingers one by one while holding his gaze. Oh, what a minx she was! But when Zeba stood up and the seat next to Sofia got empty he decided to sit but she beat him and joined Zeba in helping to make coffee for the one who wanted coffee instead of tea and she hadn't returned yet even though he was now in the room changing to get on the field.

She really took the challenge thing to her heart because she was doing excellent work in being away from him. He knew she loved challenges but to this extent, he had no idea about it.

Sighing Arsalan wore his sports gear and marched out of his room frustrated with everything and his bad mood that might affect the match the others were so excited about.

The setting of the sun gave away its last surviving heat and the slightest cold air breezed its way through the air cutting away the bearable heat as the Abidi brothers stood face to face with other components in the open field of the manor's backyard that had football turf ready for them.

The air stilled with the fierce smell of competition in the entire backyard when the boys looked into each other's eyes with only one passion that burned vigorously. Winning.

The entire manor was hyping for them, the cheering sound was pitched high and the elders took their seats watching their kids with the tiniest bit of hope of winning even though they were against this match.

Unknown about the entire match thing going on in the backyard Sofia stood in the huge kitchen that looked so out of the world to her. She felt like she was thrown back into the times of monarchies where such huge kitchens were formed in the palaces of kings and queens. Abidi Manor was not less than a palace itself, what less she would expect?
