Chapter 7 "Ghost"

Yesterday I didn't hear about Sebastian. I haven't talked to him since he left so dramatically on Tuesday, I think he came to school, but I didn't see him, he didn't talk to me either.

I mean, did I miss something? Did I insulted him without realizing it? Was being called Tian such a big deal?

I tried to stop overthinking on my way to the kitchen, it was Thursday morning and I was looking forward my coffee. I still had to wake up Noa and make sure Cameron was awake. Yes Cameron, twenty years old and I still need to remind him he has class.

My hair wasn't as messy as it could have been, but it was messy, I had just woken up after all. I was still sleepy when I entered the kitchen.

"Coffee, Bryony?"

I got scared when I saw I wasn't alone at the kitchen, my siblings were lazy enough to be asleep at this hour and my father had night shift yesterday so he was sleeping too. Then, who is offering me coffee? I wondered when I didn't recognize that person's voice as one of the people who lives in my house.

It all began to make sense when I saw the owner of that voice, a blonde girl wrapped in a baggy shirt, too big to be hers, what didn't stopped the shirt to stand out her curves. Wanna try to guess which name was that shirt shouting? Cameron.

"Ella... Sorry, I got surprised. I didn't know you were here." I ran my hands through my face trying to take the tiredness off me, I didn't want to say something I shouldn't.

"Well, yesterday it was very late so Cameron told me to stay." She explained.

Then, a zombie wannabe version of my brother walked past the kitchen door frame. Cameron was disheveled, he was rubbing his eyes until he saw his pretty little girlfriend and went to her.

"Hey, good morning." He told Ella with his hoarse voice of just waking up, then he placed a kiss on her lips as a greeting.

He prefers a blonde girl in his shirt than his little blonde sister, I will remember this one Camie.

"Did you sleep well?" Cameron asked Ella omitting my existence, I was invisible for my brother.

Ella let her coffee cup on the countertop to then wrapped her arms around my brother's neck and repeated "Good morning." Before giving him another kiss in reply.

That's my cue to leave.

At the first class the teacher seemed to be late. Olive and I weren't together at most of our classes, I have had the first history class of the year a few days ago but the table I chose to sit didn't convince me so I glanced over the class, looking for empty seats.

Surprise drew on my face when I saw Sebastian was seating in the last row, I didn't noticed his presence last class.

He was talking to Beverly Young when I entered the class, some second later he wasn't doing it anymore and Beverly was now gossiping with her friends. I took the opportunity to sit next to him when that chair became free.

"Good morning, Sebastian." I gave him a warm reconciliation smile. If he was going to behave so rude whenever I called him Tian then I won't do it. He, opposite to my intentions to make up, didn't even bother to look at me.
