~Bryony~

I woke with the sound of my alarm clock, as every school day, but today I didn't spend five minutes more in bed as every day, no. The strange alarm that resounded throughout my room made me open my eyes almost immediately, that and the fact that I didn't remember how I got home. I quickly grabbed the phone from the nightstand but before I could press 'stop' I realized two things; the first one was that the alarm had name and a short description and the second was the guilty that some seconds ago Metallica was playing in my room.

Wake up black sheep.

Don't you know you shouldn't fall asleep in the car of your kidnapper?

Black sheep... Kidnapper... All that screamed Sebastian. I didn't have a bad time with him yesterday, of course the Bryony who shared ten hours of road trip with him had one of the best days of her life since I don't remember when. It was in moments like when he asked me about the book she was reading, A Tale of Two Cities, one of the many topics we talked about, when I realized Sebastian was slowly getting closer to beat his game... and with it I was closer to beat mine.

My father was finishing the dinner, Ella arrived a couple of hours ago, she offered herself to help my father in the kitchen but he refused, now she was at Cameron's room, and well my sister... She went downstairs five times, each with a different outfit looking for my father's approval. The last outfit she wore was some joggers with black fishnet gloves together with a cotton jacket she stole from me. Spoiler, my dad told her to change.

Now I was the one looking for an outfit, I opened my wardrobe looking for something cute but elegant, I didn't want it too elegant, just what I knew I would wear one year ago, my taste in clothes changed radically since then.

I chose a light blue dress with small red daisies all round it, the dress adjusted just fine to my body though the skirt had a little flare. I put on one of my many cotton jacket, this one in red, and matched the outfit with some white sneakers. I looked at the mirror knowing that dress without sleeves was the most I could aspire, at least being in Shadow Hollow. I decided to apply some pink gloss to my lips before going downstairs.

I began to set the table but when I was halfway to it the noises coming from the kitchen woke up my curiosity. When I entered the room my father was about to send my sister to change for the hundredth time.

"Noa, I'm not arguing more with you. You have a closet full with clothes for the occasion, you aren't receiving our guests in a tracksuit." My dad scolded my sister.

I wasn't going to be the one who said that girl was spoiled and impolite, but she was. Noa was wearing some black joggers, with high black boots and a black crop top where you could read California. That wasn't the worst about her outfit, above the top that was a hand above her belly bottom she was wearing a transparent black shirt of long sleeves. Noa looked like many things, an Emo model between them.

"If I'm wearing a tracksuit then is because you don't like when I dress up!" She complaining crossing her arms. My dad let out a sigh that indicated he was losing his patience, and my dad was a very patience man.

"Of course no, Noa. I don't like you having a family dinner all dressed in black, with a skirt that covers less than it should and with lots of chokers and chains." Dad answered her back keeping his manners and patience. However Noa didn't inherit the manners of her father.
