During the lunch I was interrogated by lots of old people about my ability. It turns out that someone reading minds wasn't as common when a Beauliue turned you. Some vampires didn't believe me, the youngest ones, that didn't even know that a vampire with royal blood could have a different ability than super strength. I wasn't born with that royal blood running through my veins, a vampire with gel nails put her powerful blood in my body and then bite me.

I also met Meena, she was a very pretty human, her long straight hair and eyes were of a dark brown and her skin tanned. She ate human food while the rest drank blood and alcohol though the kings and queens plus some old princes and princesses ate a rare rib eye that was still bleeding.

The 'family lunch' gave me the chance to meet Lizbeth's grandparents, uncles and aunts. It was clear that most of her uncles and aunts from her father's part were asshole and I guess I was happy neither Devak nor Yash nor Alisha formed part of her life. It's true that Kiram and Kavya Hazra didn't seem as bad as their children and Nisha, the fourth daughter, seem to go over her sibling's foolishness and focused on the family like her older siblings but Amar's family didn't have anything to do with Eleanor's...

The Creighton were a a married couple, Ilyana and Emmerik Creighton, with three daughters. Eleanor was the eldest but the tree sisters had something in common, they were beautiful, the same blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin, in addition all of them were polite, they seem perfect though also a little cold and I'm not going to lie, they also seem to have a stick up their asses due to how upright their posture was. The name of Eleanor's sisters were Maelie and Eliana. Eliana was the youngest.

I heard the three sisters talking about a couple of books when the main conversation that we all shared was diverted and each one began an individual one with those next to you. I thought that Lizbeth could have had the chance to meet her aunts that seemed nice and share with them that love for reading. It was weird not to have her here... I felt like she should be the one meeting her biological family and not me. I was an intruder in that castle .

After the lunch people began to disperse in the garden and I took advantage of that for going inside the castle and call Lizbeth, she had asked me if I could talk a couple of hours ago and I needed all my self-control to stand what they were going to do to Meena at midnight.

I entered one of the first rooms I found in the hallway for more privacy, I didn't pay attention to the room, I was busy talking with Lizbeth. We didn't talk about anything in specific, she told me she was with her friends of the camp and I liked to mess with her telling her to greet Aiden from my part. Talking with her was a good distraction, I told her Greek people were very weird what wasn't a full lie, I also told her wish I was with her and she told me wished that too. I tried to joke asking her what would she wish I was doing with her but Lizbeth didn't like it so I stopped. I wasn't aware of the amount of time we could spend talking about nothing serious and don't get bored until I looked at the hour, Lizbeth seem to realize how late it was already too and she excused herself saying she was going out with her friends. I went out of the room still with the phone on my ear, for telling her one last thing before hanging up.

"Eunomia, black sheep." I closed carefully the door of the room behind me to don't make much noise.

"Eunomia." She said since the other line before the call ended.

"Black sheep..." I heard a voice coming from the end of the hallway.

I got scared and accidentally turned the knob of the door again, causing it to open three inches.

The mysterious voice belonged to a man, to Ammar for being exact. He walked towards me and I felt forced to explain why I called black sheep the person I was just talking to.
