"I have never ever?" Anais propose as she examined her empty shot glass.
It was the last night I was going to spend in Miami because tomorrow was the last day before the break was over and Sebastian was coming back so I wanted to go home tonight, however I planned to arrive very late at Shadow Hollow.
I didn't have very clear how I felt towards Sebastian's arrival, I wanted him to be close to me, I wanted that more than anything, these days without him have been hard and I wanted to feel safe in his arms again. I guess that was the problem... I was too used to the way he protected me from myself, I loved to be with him though I wasn't myself... It was a lie, one that I wished was true more than anything.
The club of hopeless souls decided to spend my last night at the beach, at that place that was rather hidden so we were alone, we had made a not too big bonfire that I was using my illusion to hide in eyes of the rest of the world so that any human with uniform would make the mistake to disturb us.
We had some bottles of several kinds of alcohol, between them tequila and brandy for the taste of my centenarian friends. The idea was playing a drinking game but we didn't agree in which.
"That's boring, if we are going to know each other's dirty laundry think about something more original." Aiden complained about the classic 'I have never ever'. He played with the brandy bottle's cap, he was impatient to open it and drink a couple of shots but that alcohol was for playing.
"And if instead of a drinking game we drink before say something awkward?" Genny proposed getting the attention of all of us who were sitting by that bonfire.
"Awkward like what?" I asked trying to imagine what she would say.
Genny smiled in a naughty way that reminded me of him and gave me a chill because I wanted to see more of those naughty smiles on Sebastian's face.
"First time vs last," Genny finally let us know what was in her mind with a naughty smile. "We have to say with whom, how old were we and when." Genny continued smiling as she explained the rules. "You have to drink before and after saying it."
"Then we will only drink two shots." Aiden frowned annoyed because he wanted to drink more.
"Then we also drink if we think someone's 'story' is criticizable." Genny made air quotes.
"Amazing, get ready because I'm going to criticize you all a lot." Aiden smiled triumphant as he took the cap off the bottles and filled the first shot glass for us.
"I'm not playing." Sterling moved his glass away when Aiden was about to fill it.
"Why not?" Genny looked at him challenging, with her arms crossed.
Sterling got closer to Genny to the point were their noses were almost touching, they were sat next to each other so Sterling didn't have to move much. He held her defiant gaze and smiled before speaking with an ironic tone.
"Because I don't want you to cry if I say you weren't the last woman I had sex with." Sterling almost spat it.
Ouch, low blow.
Those two definitely had some kind of argument. Sterling didn't use to let out those cutting remark towards Genny though I guess even him got tired. I loved Genny but she could have some issues controlling herself sometimes and say things I knew she didn't think.
