"Can I kiss you?" I asked her smiling when she entered my car.
"Are you seriously going to ask me that question until our date?" She also smiled. Lizbeth fasten her seat belt before facing me, my dumb questions and my curious eyes that checked her out the moment I saw her leaving her house for walking towards my car.
Today she was wearing wide leg jeans and a short gray V-neck sweater. She looked beautiful, she always did.
"Well, today is Friday and our date is on Saturday so I won't have to wait much." I smiled like an idiot.
I leaned in to kiss her on the cheek and as I pulled away I took the opportunity to brush her lips with mine. Lizbeth licked her lower lips, the one I had brushed.
"Who told you that I will kiss you tomorrow?" She looked at me with her sky blue eyes filled with the daylight, the light she owned.
Once again there was something else in her eyes... I could get used to that mischief... As long as she allowed me to kiss her lips.
"You." I lied. Enjoying her outraged face when she caught my lie.
"That's not true!" She said outraged but smiling so I liked me.
"Of course it is..." I put on my sunglasses, the November sun didn't warm much but it was still a little annoyed.
"Well, we will see who's lying when I wont let you kiss me on our date..." She threaten crossing her arms and looking forward. There were still traces of that smile so I didn't worry.
"Yeah..." I followed her little game. "We will see who's lying when I steal you a kiss or two on our date..."
Lizbeth turned to me offended, but I was able to have a sneak into her mind and I saw she didn't dislike that idea of the stolen kisses so I changed the topic.
"Aren't you going to choose song?" I ask her before starting the car.
We drove towards the high school while a song called 'All 'cause of you' made Lizbeth hum the melody.
All I wanna do is make you mine,
I said I'd love you honey anytime,
Don't believe the things they say about me,
And all those things you know I'd never be,
You're the only one I wanna do,
Everything's new,
And it's all 'cause of you.✯ ✯ ✯
At Astronomy I decided to hold her hand, when our hands intertwined under the table Lizbeth looked at me, I did the same but without stopping holding her hand but holding it tighter. At some point Lizbeth stopped looking at me for paying attention to the lesson. Our hands didn't stop being intertwined until the class ended and we had to get up.
I didn't care about not being paying attention to Mrs. Greider and her lecture about stars because I was paying attention to stars, to the brightest one, her. When I decide to nickname her black sheep I couldn't have imagined how right I was in choosing that nickname for her, she was a black sheep, different from the rest, the star that unlike the rest shone with her own light, one that blinded everybody, me included.
