~Bryony~

On Thursday Aiden lost his mind. I was calmly leaving the last class before the break when I saw him leaning against my locker. I ran to Aiden to scold him for coming. I tried him to leave but he didn't want so when I realized I didn't want Sebastian to see him I made Aiden spend the break in a hidden place with me, where no one could see us. I hated him being there but also I loved it... I hated the risk and how stubborn he was but I loved to be able to be myself during that break. On phys ed Aiden insisted in watching from the bleachers. I knew he was going to do it no matter how much I complained so I changed fast for going outside.

At first the class was funny. Aiden didn't stop laughing at my clumsy movements and my slowness, he laughed because he knew it was pure acting so I had to glare at him several times for him to stop. For a moment I forgot about everything, between laughs and angry looks that hid joy I was happy. Happy to be a normal person who was laughing with her best friend about jokes that only us understood. I was happy for a moment until they arrive.

The four people I hated most in this town and probably world. Iol Radcliff, Beverly and Elayne Young and Easton Sandford. Only Quentin was missing in that hateful group.

The coach wasn't paying attention to the class in that moment. It didn't surprised me the way Easton shoved me when he walked past me. I might have stood up after that shove but one year ago I didn't have any doubt that I would have fallen into the wet land of the field... I watched Aiden standing up in a non-human speed when he saw me in the ground. There wasn't trace of that joking expression from before but one of total concern. I looked at him making him understand he mustn't do anything.

I didn't have planned to stay my whole life in the ground for them to laugh so I got up. I got up fast, with my knees and palm of my hands soiled. I didn't have time to clean them because as soon as I tried to take the dust off me I felt a pressure on the shin, a kick, which made me fall again, this time on my back.

I thought my back would hit the ground but it didn't. I opened my eyes to see Iol's stupid smirk, he was grabbing my T-shirt tight preventing me to hit the ground. I knew that wasn't a gesture of charity, that smirk showed it, so I grabbed his hand to avoid falling at any time and to reduce the feeling that I was drowning with his grip.

Iol didn't talk, neither did he let go of me. I didn't understand anything until Beverly's red gloss showed in my filed of view. She was dressed in the tight gym uniform and was smirking at her friend. She got close to me taking advantage of Iol's grip that made me motionless.

"You will be asking why we are doing this now..." She started to whisper at my ear. "Well, is something the four of us wanted to do... but above all I." She smiled in my ear and I could heard her narcissism. "You just seemed so happy laughing with that new boy you brought for flirting... Understand that humiliating you was too tempting."

For a second I almost smiled when she insinuated I wanted to flirt with Aiden. But then the whore opened her big mouth again waking up something in me. Pure anger.

"You should be the next new in Sandy's section... An article about the weirdo of Bryony Smith being actually a whore..." Beverly clicked her tongue. " 'From redhead to brown haired going by dark haired'. Great name, isn't it?"

Beverly started to laugh and I couldn't hold myself back anymore. Kinda unconsciously I made my magic burn Iol's hand. He pulled his hand away in a reflex action which made me fall. I didn't care about being in the ground, neither that they were laughing at me. My vision blur for a second because of the blow and I think a tear escaped my eyes but once again it didn't matter. At least nobody was grabbing me, I could get up and ran if I wanted or wait for them to get tired and leave. Finally they left for talking to the coach.
