Logan
Fuck!
I throw my phone across the room and it shatters against the wall.
Felix had sent me a recording of the conversation he and Kagami had the night of her birthday dinner. I fucking checked everything that could come back to me. The cameras in the hotel, the SUV was sent to a wreckage site, the restaurant under our payroll. Everything was clean.
I fucking did everything.
I've thought of everything for that fucking night. I didn't expect her to call him. I didn't expect him to be listening in on everything. I sure as hell didn't expect this.
The air in my lungs feels very dense. As if I'm breathing through a coffee straw the vendors give out. My knees buckle and I feel everything around me spin. The pulse of my heart starts to thrum in my ears.
The tie around my collar begins to choke me and I haul it off for more breathing room. My uniform jacket is too thick and I feel very warm.
How do I fix this?
Does he have a copy?
Who can hack phones?
Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!
I fall back onto my bed and stare up at the darkness. It's almost welcoming. My eyes close as I try my best to dream of a world where I'm the hero.

"We are going to a party. Did you want to join?" Felix asked.
I was planning on staying home. I received my test results back and thought it would be best to stay home. My father had assumed that I had a high IQ. Turns out I disappointed him once more.
At this point who the fuck cares? I've only ever been a disappointment. I've only ever tried my fucking hardest to get his approval. Around others he acts like I'm the most amazing son, but I know it's a lie. I know because he reminds me of how worthless I am.
I could simply drink all of his liquor and get alcohol poisoning and he wouldn't fucking care.
"No. I'll just swipe something from my dads liquor cabinet." I shrug, trying my best not to show the hurt I feel.
"Come on man, you need to get out of here. Your father has been on your ass so much. Just let loose." He nudges me.
Felix and I have become pretty close this last year, but not enough to let him in. My father reminded me that any party is a call for disaster. I've never been to one, but I knew how to make a good time happen.
"Fine, but only for a few hours." I smile. Felix walks out of the room and before I leave I run back to my night stand to grab a condom, eye drops and a little dose of ecstasy.
"Yo, Logan let's go!" Felix yells from the hallway and I place the items into my pocket and head out.

We arrive at the party and Felix leaves me to venture out. He already knew a few people here. Some of these students transferred over due to the curriculum at the school. Others I'd like to say seemed to swoon over Felix.
"He has quite the fan group." A girl stands next to me staring out towards the direction I'm watching. Felix is surrounded by girls.
"It's like he's a magnet. Must be the iron in their system." As I take a swig of my drink, the girl laughs.
My eyes flick over to her and I almost die. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Her skin is porcelain and her hair naturally blonde. Not the dye that girls want, but healthy and blonde. Her eyes are crystal blue and her smile. Damn, that smile is infectious.
