Is she believing?

Nora POV

The weekend passed by fast after I went to the charity event. It was a blurbed out night and I can't really figure out what happened. I just remember the unpleasant conversation with my father and his wife and after that the only thing I know is that I've had a lot of drinks.

My abrasions where healing fine but I was still in pain and I know it'll last for some days or a week at least. But I was able to do my things... I just did them slower and more carefully.

One think I know for sure is that I can't get along with the basketball training. I haven't seen coach
Benson yet but I need to tell her that I'm injured and that I won't play for at least a week or two.

Training was three times a week and we usually always have a game on the weekend which means I'll be of the field for a while. It's shitty especially when I'm someone who's always playing.

The morning sun was shining bright and my eyes where way to sensitive so I had to cover them with sun glasses. The road was surprisingly quiet and calm for the morning so I finally got to enjoy the drive at least once.

I parked my car on campus and got my bag leaving to head to training. My class will be after but I can't really do shit with my injured self.

I heard whistling and basketballs collided with the ground loud noises from my team and the shoes that make a sound that's all so familiar.

„Nora hey. How was your weekend." Beth walked up to me giving me a quick hug which I replied to.

„Blurbed out. I still have a headache from all the drinking at this charity event."

„Oh i remember i thought you told me you didn't want to go.  Was it that bad?"

„I wish i could tell because I can't remember shit.
Where is coach Benson. I need to tell her that I'm not capable to play for a while."

„About that. We have a new coach." She replied while guiding me through the training hall.

„Are you serious? Mid play season they decide to change our coach? That's shitty."

„Oh I wouldn't be to mad about it..." she had a smirk on her face which I couldn't explain.

„Are they Good?" I asked and she shrugged her shoulders.

„I don't know but she's definitely hot. So at least we have something to get distracted by."

„Oh come on not again you and your dirty mind."

„Stop it Nora. You are probably more dirty minded then I am. I'm just saying it out loud. You on the other hand think it... remember what people say quiet water is deep." I snatched the ball out of her hands throwing it against her head playfully.
The whistle made us turn around and what I saw was turning my stomach.

„Everyone sit down on the bench we have a lot to talk about. But first I gotta introduce myself because I'll be the new coach. My name is Scarlett Johansson and I'm taking coach Bensons position.
She informed me about the training sessions you have and from the lists I've read on the winning scale it seems like we need to dial it up a notch."

Oh god. I kissed my coach.. fucking hell why am I always getting into these situations. Did she notice me or does she ignore me? How did I not think about the fact that everyone who went to this charity event could possibly be at my college?
I had no idea and she doesn't look like a coach to me. The coaches I remember are always old and grumpy. She on the hand. She's different.

„I'm sorry why do we need to dial it up I mean we won almost every game so far?" Kim asked after raising her hand.

„I'm not planing on having a close score scale.
I want the team to lead the game. Any other questions?" she asked and Zoe raised her hand as well.
