Lizzie POV

She held, her head down minding my gaze completely.

„Nora." she didn't look up at all.

„Nora look at me please." i have a feeling why she's hiding her face from everyone and my Theory was right.

She lifted her head hesitatingly and my heart aches as I see what is written across her face.
Pure pain and heartbreak.
Eye bags laid under her red puffy eyes and when you move down a bit you can see a cut right on her cheekbone that has been healing slowly.
It was purple and blue around the bruise and I have a feeling on who did this.

I took my phone out dialing a number that I usually don't want to call.

„Who are you calling?"

„The Police. This needs to be registered."
She got up quickly placing her hand on my phone to cover it up. Her eyes where glossy and the expression was hurt.

„Don't. Please." she pleaded in a whisper and I looked down at her hand that felt cold.

„Nora... You gonna let him walk away with this?"

„No. but I don't want any more problems.
Especially because I know that my father will get involved. He will find out and he won't even believe me."

„Your Father? You mean the principal?"
Her expression fell and she took her hand away stepping back leaving me in a colder state then before.

„Yes. Karma will work on Victor one day and I don't want any more stress. He's brought me enough pain and I just want to forget about it all."
She replied while sitting down again after minutes of pacing around.

„Can I know how it happened? I don't want you to be uncomfortable if you talk about it."

„I was actually intending to find out if her really did what you guys told me. He was so defensive and I was pushing further and further until he- until his hand slipped letting it collide with my face.
I wasn't even crying until I went home but I was boiling and so angry at him. That he did this to me and I don't even know since when or with who or how often. He was like ‚i knew sooner or later I had no other choice than to cheat.' as if he was just waiting for it to happen. I was so desperate to know why because I gave him everything. He was just simply to greedy and I wasn't enough.
Nothing is enough..."

Tears fell as she opened up and i think this was only the surface of the things he did and said.

„You Are enough Nora."
She scoffed while whipping her tears shaking her head.

„I'm obviously not enough. He wouldn't have done this if I wouldn't be enough for him. I'll never be enough."

„please. It's not your fault that he cheated on you.
He's a bastard and he should have at least ended things with you before getting with someone else."
She nod and rubbed here eyes in defeat. She looks tired. Exhausted and out of energy.

I was about to say something but I got interrupted by a loud door knock. We shared a look and I hesitatingly called in for whoever was on the other side of the door.

„Come on in!"

Out of all the persons I didn't expect it was the principal. Nora minded his gaze looking away from him clearly emotional.

„Sorry to disturb. I wanted to talk to you Elizabeth." he walked in and I smiled politely.

„Nora? I didn't expect you here."
