Nora POV

Here we go what will I have to endure next?

„I don't know how to start this but I will get straight to the point so that I don't have to waste any of my precious time." he began as he sat down on the bar chair next to me.

„I would love if you'd stay out of my wife's life."
He began and I glared him up and down confused.

„What makes you think that I can stay out of her life. Remember that she is my professor, so I have to face her on a daily basis." I replied irritated and he smiled in a creepy way.

„Well. I know that you have a close relationship with her. Closer than you actually should as a student." he elaborated and I don't know what he wants from me. I looked across the room briefly searching for Lizzie but she wasn't anywhere to be seen.

„What makes you think that?" I asked while pouring myself another shot to down it so that I can endure this shitty conversation.

„Well. Cameras at my house show that you've been there. Kinda strange isn't it? I gotta say that Lizzie always had a type for weak therapy needing women. But this was never something to last.
I've noticed that already in her college days.
She was always desperately trying to fix others.
But it never worked and when she realized it...
She will let them go just like she did with you."
My body started to boil as he was talking on and on. I mean he ain't wrong that I need therapy but that's not the point.

„To me it seems like you are being delusional.
I don't have anything to do with her other than being her student." I kept denying it because this was none of his business even though I could lay my hand in the fire that I fucked her better than he ever could.

„I want you out of our way. She doesn't need an unnecessary distraction like you."

„Are you even listening to me? I can't stay away from her. It's not possible cause I see her every damn day in my class."

„Then why don't you switch over to another college? That way you would be out of her sight and out of her mind real quick." he offered sternly
And I couldn't help but to laugh about what he is saying.

„Wow your being funny. Have you ever tried being a comedian? They'd already laugh at you even though you wouldn't have said anything and they will laugh even more because they realize that you talk dumb shit." I said it in between laughter and he just looked so perplexed and mad at me.

„I won't switch over to another college just because you don't want me to see her.
Arnett you should trust in your wife and her choices."

„It's not that I don't trust her because I do...
It's just that I don't trust you and your choices in any way. You are acting irrationally and this isn't good." he told me and I needed to take another shot so I did.

„Your being ridiculous. Like why did I even got invited to this wedding i didn't want to witness in the first place? Why won't everyone just leave me the fuck alone cause I can't stand this shit anymore." I raised my voice slightly and he grinned.

„I just kinda wanted to rub it under your nose.
Show you that you can never have her and that this day will remind you that she chose me over you. This is the biggest affirmation Someone can make and she said yes to me." for the love of god I wanna punch him so hard right now but I wouldn't dare to do this in a situation like this. To much public and on top it is his and Lizzie's wedding.

„Bastard." i mumbled and he raised a brow.

„You can curse as much as you want. It's not gonna change anything. I won't give you much time to consider the option I've been giving you."

„Or else what? You ain't gonna do anything."
He walked back and got uncomfortably close to me.

„I have my ways to make people shut up.
It's for the best if you'd listen and do what I asked you to do. It's for the better."
He threatened me and I saw right into Lizzie's eyes across the room. She looked irritated or maybe even a little bit mad I couldn't quite tell.
He backed up as I started to get up and leave.

Lizzie POV

As i came back form saying my Hallos to the ones that came I saw across the hall how Robbie was awfully close to Nora. Leaned up against her ear at the bar. I was able to see her face and she looked pale. Not a single expression was on her face as if her emotions where drained in that very moment.

I started to walk across to get to them but with all the people that are on the dance floor and around are making it hard for me to get over in time.
I lost sight of her and she was gone as I was about to step closer to the bar.

Robbie was there and greeted me with a kiss while he rested his hands on my hip.

„There you are Elizabeth. I've been looking for you all over this place." he spoke up and I obviously wasn't believing what he said.

„Looking for me all over the place? Well you sure won't find me at the bar but I saw you where close to Nora. What's going on?" I asked looking at the place where she was sitting in.

„Oh her?" he looked back briefly before moving on.

„I was just making conversation and trying to be a good host." he smiled and my gut tells me that there is something else behind it.

„You've been whispering in her ear and she looked not so good? Is she okay?" I asked and he nod.

„The Music was so loud and we didn't understand each other so well. She just had a bit to much to drink. You know how we used to be at our college days. Wild and limitless. I told her to get some air she probably even went home I don't know."
He explained and I wanted to look after her but he held me back.

„Lizzie. She has other people looking out for her.
She will be fine." he pulled me back and onto the dance floor as the DJ started to play a slow song.
Most of the people moved from the floor and I was able to see better.

Scarlett wasn't anywhere to be seen and I know I saw Victor somewhere but he isn't here anymore as well. I'm worried for Nora.
